This was our third time staying at Cloud 9 and again we found the house met all our needs. There were six adults and each couple had their own space and bathrooms. The house is very comfortable, clean and well maintained, a large pantry stocked with all the basics you might need, with cupboards full of crockery, glasses, platters and serving utensils.
The view out to the Gold Coast from the wrap around veranda is amazing with plenty of outdoor tables and chairs. It is also a good place to watch the birds gliding in the valley. The garden is also a treat, particularly is you had younger children. So much to explore!
We absolutely love Cloud 9 and always come away feeling rested and calm.
I have found dealing with Murray always straight forward and pleasant.

Very well appointed holiday house with an amazing view. The host is great with communication and has very comprehensive info for visitors. The Alice in Wonderland theme garden is beautiful and a treasure hunt list is a nice touch. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic place to stay! The location is unbeatable, with a view you don't get very often. The house is quite large, and accommodates groups well - we had 6 adults and there was plenty of space for everyone to come together, and also for you to have some privacy if you wanted. The gas heater in the lounge room kept the place very warm; we only ever had to have it on low to keep the house warm, while it dropped to single digits outside overnight.

The kitchen is spacious, and the owners provide just about everything you need. Seriously well stocked with crockery, cutlery, utensils, bakeware, glassware....you name it, they've got it. The oven and dishwasher were pretty new looking too, and both worked well. Two fridges are provided, so you can store a lot of food, and keep plenty of drinks cold too.

The property is really well done, with a terraced/sloping garden in the back yard that has taken a lot of effort to create, and I'm sure to maintain. If you've got little kids and/or a big Alice in Wonderland fan, this place is for you. Lots of things for the kids to explore, and the owners have even put together a treasure hunt list to keep the kids occupied - they have to find various characters from the book around the garden.

The owners were very good with communication, and checking in was a breeze, they even texted to make sure we managed to get in ok. A very kind gift of a bottle of French sparkling and some local fudge was waiting for us in the kitchen when we arrived.

The view from the deck is outstanding. Unfortunately for us though, the council/government was doing some back burning during our stay, so it was a little hazy; but you could still see all the way to Broadbeach. The sunrise was worth getting up early for, and there are a few different places to sit and enjoy different aspects of the view.

Have just recently spent 4 days at cloud 9, beautiful house, amazing views, so peaceful. Definitely hope to return some time. Communication from the owner Murray was spot on at all times. Cannot fault anything, absolutely a top place to stay.

I don't normally post a review on behalf of someone else, but this needed mentioning. It's a mixed review really. We had some family stay here for our wedding recently and the accommodation itself was excellent. Our family really enjoyed the Alice in Wonderland garden, they had lots of space and it was great for them but would be better for a big family. They were asked for feedback upon departure asking if they would stay there again and only due to its size and the fact that they didn't need something that big they said probably not, but they loved the place. Then they received an email request for feedback and gave the same response, great place - too big for them, when asked what could be better, they mentioned some dust on window sills and fixtures but overall a great review, actually an 8/10.....and then the OWNER CALLS to abuse them for not giving a perfect review!!!! Goes off on a tirade about how he gets people like her every two or three years that just want to complain and cant be happy. Calls our family member names in another language and proceeds to blame them for the dust saying they wont get their bond back because he will have to use it to pay cleaners to to clean the dust. Seriously What is wrong with you? Talk about self-sabotage. You would have got a good review. You got 8/10 and you felt the need to abuse someone. Your lucky you didn't do it in person. And now we will tell everyone we know how some nutjob rings to abuse his guests for giving an 8/10 review!

Divine position poised at the edge of the National park with sweeping views to the Gold Coast. Cloud 9 is a happy house well suited to those seeking a relaxed getaway. The fireplace ads warmth and ambiance these chilly weekends and the kitchen has everything for those wanting to cook at home
