We've stopped twice at the Riverston Tea Rooms for breakfast recently, and on both occasions had an outstanding experience. Don't mess about - just go straight for the big breakfast, which is delicious. The location is fabulous too and the service is excellent. We must return there one day and work our way through the cake cabinet!

I do recommend to stop here if in the area.
You will be entering a nice old English style house with nice furniture and am antique room with interesting object for sale.
We stopped for a tea, good and cheap. Good service and overall the bathroom were clean as well

Had the lamb rum for brunch. Tasted pretty good. Nicely done, tender and well cooked. Had the ice latte and strawberry milk shake. Both tasted great. The displays were quite antique, which added to the nice atmosphere. Good place for a meal!

Our new go to cafe in rocky. Food was amazing, service quick and friendly, coffee hot and on point. I had the Ruben sandwich and the bride had some sort of a salad bowl with added bacon. Both meals were 10/10.

Long on our list of cafes we wanted to go to here in Rockhampton and today we finally got here for breakfast. The atmosphere is for our taste a bit too open, a bit much like in a Museum but ommg wow the food didn't disappoint at all and we were so happy with it 🙂 We got ourselves the big breakfast and an acai bowl (the best id ever had so far!) - Highly recommended!!

Good selection of teas and beautiful interior. Tastefully decorated european style cafe. You can see antique jewellery in one of the rooms and there are some cupboards with old china sets on display. Recommend sitting on the couch and taking a look at the beautifully carved table while sipping your tea. Friendly staff and quick service too. Only thing is they could serve the tea in finer teacups, but as these cups get used a lot i do understand the generic thick cup.

Delicious breakfast/brunch options. Dishes came out promptly! Beef Brisket burger was really yummy. Granola topping on acai bowl was nicely toasted. Amazing food coupled with great ambience. Leaves a long lasting lovely memory.

Amazing Cafe on the river.
Gorgeous antiques and collectables for sale.
The building itself is stunning and well cared for.
The barista is brilliant! It was very welcoming. She remembered my coffee on the second visit. Coffee was well made and delicious
I'm definitely returning for a proper breakfast, as their meals looked beautiful.
On the river, and well worth a detour if you're driving through
