Stopped in for lunch from the Towers to Emerald.

One of the best pub counter meals we have had in a long time, and we have done plenty.
Great service from the very welcoming staff with cold beer, excellent food, and all at reasonable prices.

Really friendly staff, happy to accommodate travellers who didn’t expect to be flooded out 🙃 Rooms are outdated but clean, towels, soap, and linen provided. Minimal onsite parking but a lot available on the street. You get what you pay for

This place would have to be best pub I’ve ever stepped foot in, from the friendly staff to the awesome people you meet at this place.
The foods so good it’ll punch the taste buds out your mouth and into space.
If this place was on the coast I’d be there everyday 🤌

She's a bit quite and I was timid but the Leo roared with perrfection , I'm not making this up and I am sure it is happening all around Australia, our beautiful country with beautiful people. Even you...
Don't stop Roaring Leo , maybe that's not what it's named after , but the history says she stands strong..

Bar staff and during the day 5 stars. Ordered dinner at 5.30 first in line with no one behind us. Had made a booking but no one knew anything about it. Waited 45 minutes for my food. Went to the bar and the young man that served us had no idea what I was talking about. Finally the order arrived and my seafood basket was disgusting. They must be using the cheapest frozen seafood they could buy. My friend’s steak and roasted veg ended up a steak with mash and boiled vegetables.
