Ate at this cafe when staying at the Oaks hotel which it is attached to. Friendly staff but they were so slow and we had to queue for a while just to order. We then waited over 30 minutes for 3 breakfasts. The food was really tasty and the portions were massive. I would only recommend going here if you’re not in a rush and don’t mind waiting.

Waited over 30 minutes for a brekky burger and eggs Benedict. Not more than 15 other customers. Yet both meals still came out cold! As a local I can strongly suggest any tourists staying at Oaks go up Ruthven st to the Finch, or any other cafe in the town. Hopefully service improves soon.

Very slow kitchen service. Egg whites were still raw on top! Can't recommend this cafe because of the slow service and lacking chef skills.

A lovely spot for a Saturday morning catch up with friends. Wish their breakfast service didn't close at 10am, but the choices in the cabinet were a good variety. Coffee was spot on! 🙂 Overall a lovely spot. Was fairly quiet and relaxed, which is just what we needed!

Also pram friendly and has a highchair for babies.

Coffee is great, but the service is below average. Should not take more than 10 minutes for a takeaway coffee. It's disappointing when 1 person is working with 3 watching. If you are in a rush, go somewhere else.

Food simple, eggs Benedict ordered, eggs were boiled not poached. No spread on muffins making for a very dry meal.

Ordered eggs and they left the eggs off our breakfast. We let them know straight away but it took so long for them to bring our eggs we had just gone ahead and finished our cold, soggy meals. I went back to the counter to say don't bother with the eggs, but they didn't really care. Meanwhile, we could see that they were making and serving other meals with eggs on them the entire time we were waiting. Really poor form considering how much we spent for our meals and coffee.
