Mum and I stayed in this delightful B&B, I had read the reviews and booked it hoping for a quality experience. “Wow”is all I can I say, what a stunning weekend. We were So comfortable. my mum had a marvellous weekend, Beccles is so tastefully restored, not too much lace no death by doily here, just the right amount of colour in the rooms. The en-suite is a wonderful size and so cleeeeeean. The beds were so comfortable we slept very well.|Jeanette is a delightful host, so welcoming I really liked her company. The breakfast is perfect, everything so fresh and tasty. Sitting in the dining with all the silverware and white flatware we felt like royalty but with a real touch of home.|The garden is beautiful and the property is so central to the CBD and garden displays.|I love throughly recommend this property on every level.

Beccles was a beautiful 3 night stay in a lovely B&B. The rooms are superbly designed and decorated with every touch that makes the experience so wonderful. Janette is a warm and generous host and we adored her furry maddie girl. Quietly reading in the beautifully appointed lounge room was like staying at a 5 star residence. The breakfasts were superb and gourmet quality.||||The most wonderful accommodation in Toowoomba and would thoroughly recommend this beautiful home.

We were impressed by all aspects of our stay at Beccles - as we love antiques and this restored old house is crammed with lovely old furniture, pictures , and object d'art. Our room was large and comfortable and thoughtfully equipped, the bathroom was also extra large with ample space for ones toiletries and there is an adjoining sitting room which is also private to this room only.|| Margaret Street is a nice street in Toowoomba and in a good position for schools, the private hospital nearby and the CBD. || Janette, our host, was charming and gracious and served a delightful breakfast from the mahogany dining table suitably set with good old silver- ware and bone china.||What more could one ask?

Beccles B and B is a beautiful old house that has a lovely homey feel, a nice ambiance and has been well maintained and kept in character with the architecture and furnishings of its time. From the moment we booked our accommodation at Beccles, Jeanette provided a wonderful service and was very helpful in recommending restaurants, tourist attractions, etc. The guest rooms and en-suites are large, nicely presented, very clean and the beds are super comfortable. Breakfast was very plentiful and delicious, we also really appreciated the little extras that were provided. We were two couples celebrating our parents 60th wedding anniversary, staying in the king and queen rooms, and definitely recommend Beccles as the perfect place to stay when visiting Toowoomba.

After staying here two years ago & loving it we decided to book in again for our one night stop over in Toowoomba. Our host Janette certainly did not disappoint, the high standard of accommodation in this beautifully
restored 1938 Qld Bungalow was indeed still magnificent. We were allocated the King Suite & the room was very spacious with a huge bathroom big enough to accommodate a claw foot bath tub. A rare feature in most bed & breakfast establishments. Sadly we could not make use of the wonderful sitting room with comfy seating, book library & DVD as we were going out to dinner with friends.
The beautiful home is very relaxing & enjoyable so much so that you really do not want to leave, we could have stayed another
week. Our breakfast as we had experienced previously still consisted of a full silver service breakfast, fresh squeezed juice, home made granola, fresh fruit & yogurt plus cooked items as per our indivual requests.
Congratulations Janette in maintaining such a high consistent standard of accommodation, we will be back.

This is our 3rd visit to Beccles and this lovely home and Janette never disappoints! From the friendliest host (and cute dog Maggie), comfortable room and the most delicious breakfasts, you can't beat this place. It is also walking distance to town and events in Queens Park for the Carnival of Flowers. See you next year Janette. xDanielle & Glen

We had the pleasure of staying at Beccles approximately a month ago on a Friday night to do the park run on the sat. We were greeted by Jeanette who guided us to our up graded room. wow it was spotless. we un packed and Jeanette had prepared coffee & tea and a slice of buttered loaf, what a welcome,she sat with us and we chatted for quite some time.( sorry Jeanette I talk too much ). We did the run then returned to Beccles for breakfast,what a spread,and hot plates with the eggs & beans,( nice touch Jeanette). We had a fantastic stay at Beccles, will do it again.( sorry about the chocolates in the room Jeanette), our stay rated 11 out of 10.

My husband and I so enjoyed our time at Beccles on Margaret. Janette was simply lovely, her openness and hospitality second to none and her interest in and care for her guests expressed in every detail. We felt completely spoiled and blessed. And her homemade granola - ah now that was sooooo delicious. Please come and stay at Beccles and experience this rest and refreshing.
