I don't usually do reviews, but I had to for the Dorsett. Definitely a 5 star rating! This place was absolutely perfect. Great location with the Casino just downstairs. Super clean rooms with fantastic views. The facilities were amazing, I’ve never seen something as amazing as the executive lounge. From the golden hour drinks and nibbles to the buffet breakfast in the morning, I couldn’t fault anything. Also the staff and service was phenomenal. Already looking for another weekend to come down and stay again highly recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Dorsett Gold Coast 31.01, and from the moment I arrived, I was thoroughly impressed. The professionalism of the check-in staff made for a seamless and welcoming arrival, setting the tone for an exceptional stay.

The room was spotless, with pristine bed linen that made for an incredibly comfortable sleep. The bathroom facilities were immaculate, offering both style and functionality, which added to the overall luxury of the experience.

A highlight of my stay was the Executive Lounge, which provided a relaxing and sophisticated atmosphere with excellent service and amenities. It truly elevated my experience and made my time at the hotel even more enjoyable.

A special thank you to Zachery for his outstanding service—his attentiveness and hospitality made a lasting impression. I sincerely appreciate the entire team for making my stay so inviting. I look forward to returning soon!

I don't usually bother with reviews, let alone 5 star reviews, but this place was purely excellent. Incredible location with easy access to public transport. Super clean rooms with fantastic views. The facilities were also mind blowing, the pool alone was a tourist attraction. Casino is right next door too.

I had an incredible stay at the Dorset Gold Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, blending modern luxury with a relaxed coastal vibe. My room was spacious, spotless, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay, including a stunning view of the Gold Coast skyline.

The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and close to top restaurants, shopping, and attractions. The on-site facilities were also fantastic, from the pool area to the fitness center. I really appreciated the little touches like complimentary coffee in the lobby and the friendly concierge who offered great local recommendations.

Overall, the Dorset Gold Hotel exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish and relaxing stay on the Gold Coast. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We stayed at the Dorsett several times and this is my top 3 hotels in Gold Coast.
The check-in process was smooth, fast and the staff were friendly and welcoming. My room was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay.

I love staying at Executive room (level 18) with Executive lounge access (level 19). We had breakfast included and afternoon snacks, canapés and alcohol.

Pool is great, lots of sun lounges, towels. Bar at the pool area is open from 10am. Another benefit that you can use The Star Grand hotel’s pool, so you have a choice.

Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely consider returning for future trips. Thank you for the warm hospitality!

Warm guest rooms and considerate service attitude. Very efficient in meeting guest room needs. The best location on Star Island in Gold Coast. There is everything around downstairs. It is top-notch. Parking is free overnight on the street and free for three hours after 9 o'clock during the day. This is definitely the most cost-effective choice.

We stayed at The Dorsett for our Dad’s 50th and were so happy with the service and experience of this hotel! Don looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. He was absolutely amazing! Nothing to fault about the stay here, close to everything, amazing staff, fresh rooms and more. Definitely staying again!
