Solo business trip, I arrived after 10pm and relied on google maps as it was dark and I was unfamiliar with the area.||The entry to the car park wasn’t quite clear, whilst in front of the hotel building, they were pretty dark. So I parked under a light. If you have a lot of luggage it would be best to drive up to the hotel first. ||The hotel lobby is quite striking on entry and grander than expected for the location. I received an incredibly warm and efficient welcome and the gentleman at the desk organised me a hot chocolate before the bar closed, which was such a nice gesture and gave it to me free of charge. I didn’t get to use my free Accor welcome drink so it was appreciated. ||I think I got an upgrade to a bigger / corner room, I booked a superior. Although looking over the garbage bins and to the road on the 8th floor, there was not a peep of sound to be heard. The room was large and comfortable, a real contemporary country aesthetic with an equestrian theme- fit for the pages of a magazine. With 4 similar pillows on the bed and an additional in the wardrobe, it would be nice to have a variety offered - firm / foam etc as they were all quite big. ||Checking the pool deck on level 9 before breakfast it was a great space with a view of the track. When heading down to the Newmarket restaurant after I was mildly disappointed that there was no view. The decor is nice though and the staff friendly and attentive. The only option was buffet which includes an espresso coffee or going to the cart in the lobby to go., would be nice to have an a la Carte option for those that are not big breakfast eaters. ||Business doesn’t bring me to the area often, but I would stay again if needed and mention it to people who may..

Had a great stay at this lovely hotel, seamless check in and check out, great customer service. Lovely hotel ambience and touch of detail. Enjoyable facilities such as the gym. Some modern equipment especially the weights machines would be nice. Good breakfast meals, options to size of coffee would be good. Great and welcoming atmosphere to dinning.|Appreciated the availability of an EV charger. Ideal location would be in a well lighted area. However, I understand its location due to security.|Would definitely take my family for a stay in the summer to enjoy the rooftop pool.

Everything was good except the toilet and shower situation. They are open to the room with only a frosted glass door. It could do with more privacy. Breakfast and restaurant food was nice although pricey.

The room was very nice, laid out and comfortable. I wandered around early in the evening to see what was there, including the restaurant. I was asked if I wanted to dine that evening; it would be wise to make a reservation. I am glad the restaurant manager suggested this, as the restaurant was bustling, which surprised me somewhat. When I had the meal, I understood why. Breakfast in the morning was very good (could use some extra signage for gluten-free items, etc).

Definitely a 5star hotel but a downscale level due to the location. Stayed for 3 nights. Staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast was good but nothing extravagant. Hotel bar served up to as late as 1am. Gym was decent size. Rooftop pool heated with a good view of the surrounding suburbs. Room service was prompt and delicious. Definitely would stay again if I was to book around this area of Sydney.

Very nice hotel with good food and coffee. If you like a cool dark room though, you're out of luck. The a/c panel has a power light that illuminates the entire room with a green swathe of light that's brighter than the sun. You can power it off, but then the room heats up hotter than the sun. Could do with a design rethink

The Red Hot Room rate prompted our last minute weekend break at one of our favourite hotels.
On arrival we paid for an upgrade to a suite and had a very pleasant stay to celebrate both my birthday and fathers day.
Breakfast was wonderful, and the complimentary minibar softdrinks and welcome bottle of red were very much appreciated.
My only disappointment was being unable to use our A+ discount on our favourite T-Bone steak.

Excellent restaurant with excellent service and good quality food.
We had a complimentary upgrade to an excellent room with a great view of the sunset each day.
Free parking out the front is a huge bonus and the hotel in general is new, high quality and in excellent condition. So enjoyed our stay there.
