We had a lovely stay at the Blue Heron Boutique Hotel! They made traveling with a baby so much easier by providing a cot free of charge, which we really appreciated. The hotel is in a perfect location, with shops, restaurants, and the beach all within walking distance. The pool was fantastic, and everything was so well looked after and very clean. The whole place had such a quiet and peaceful vibe. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay, especially for families!

I stumbled across this motel last minute and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the outside, it may seem unassuming, but once inside, it’s a whole different story. The facilities are spotless and modern, offering incredible value for the price.

The staff were genuinely friendly and professional, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. And the location? Unbeatable at this price point—so convenient!

It’s one of those places you almost want to keep to yourself, but it’s too good not to share. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable yet top-notch place to stay. Definitely a hidden gem!

Only stayed for an overnighter but was beyond impressed with the place and the room. It wasn't hard to find, and neither were there any issues with parking on-site, and the staff were super friendly and informative. The pool and pool area appeared very well maintained and inviting, despite not using the facility myself. The room itself was as amazing as the water pressure in the shower. It was super clean and tidy, had a microwave, a wardrobe with an iron inside, a mini fridge, a TV with which my partner was able to plug his PS5 into, and the aircon never felt like it tickled the hairs on your neck or arms. The bed was super comfortable and gave for a well-rested sleep. I'd absolutely stay again. My only regret is having left my bodywash in the shower!

We recently stayed at the Blue Heron: The motel is ok, nothing special. Overall a bit dated, just cosmetically updated to make it look nice. It looks better on the website than in real.
Given the rates, I would not go back because there are better options available.

I don't really want to say I love it, because everyone will Want to go there, but I do love it.
I am regularly on the Goldie, and this has become my go to place. I rate it very highly.
Rooms are modern and clean. Attention to detail happens here. It is quiet, and well located. A short walk in either direction, and you have great food choices. It a 2 block stroll to the beach.
And, although I haven't used the pool, it is a lovely calming feature. Parking on site.
It certainly ticks all of my boxes.
I am very happy that I found this place.

It can be a little scary booking a low budget hotel, but let me tell you just how surprisingly good this place is. The rooms are quiet, modern and spotless. The beach is less than 500 meters away and the service is welcoming and happy. I would certainly book here again, outstanding hotel for its low cost.

My Wife and Son stayed here for a few nights on a QLD holiday - and thought everything about the place was fantastic!

Its a fantastic location, not too far away from anywhere you'd want to be - but far enough away not to be in the hustle and bustle of it all.

The room was incredibly clean and modern, as was the bathroom.

The owners were all too happy to help out, even express posting something back to us that we'd left there - the day we'd realised we'd forgotten it.

They are doing a lot of constrution to the Light Rail in that part of the coast - and we were given ear plugs incase we needed them - but in the 3 nights we were there (tuesday to friday) - we had zero need for them, and were not put out in any way by any of the construction.

Absolutely reccomend this place to anyone and everyone.

Amazing little gem, right on the Gold Coast highway. Don't let the outside fool you, beyond the gate a freshly renovated modern beach side accommodation. Rooms surround a fresh inviting pool area. The beach a few blocks down the street completes the stay. The staff were amazingly friendly and accommodating. Absolutely stay again given the need. As is signed in the rooms, cleaning isn't done for short stays, however they were happy to accommodate fresh towels, given the pool, no beach towels were provided then suddenly appeared in the room. Didn't ask but I am sure they wild have given the room a clean (optimal given the proximity to the beach)
