We had an overnight stay. Our room had a balcony that over looked the river and hinterland. The views are awesome. It was an excellent place to relax.
Room and bed were comfortable. Great location close to the centre of Surfers, and right by the river.
We will stay again.

The Vibe Hotel in Gold Coast is located in the Surfer's Paradise and adjacent to the Nerang river quite close to the Sea . Besides the good location, we found the views of the River from Room to be fantastic and a big plus about the Hotel. The Room which me & my wife occupied was on the sixth floor but was spacious and decent. It had all the modern amenities like LED TV, Electric kettle, Elec. Press and ironing board,Mini Fridge, Electronic Safe and Hair Dryer etc. A balcony overlooking was also attached with the room where having a cup of coffee was a delight. The only shortcoming observed was the WiFi signal strength which was less and so buffering occurred at times quite often. The Reception desk was very responsive and the staff polite. In general Good vibes emanate from the Hotel and it lives up to it's name.

Firstly Sara from reception deserve 8 stars. Beautiful friendly hopeful service and after a long drive with kids, she made the whole settling in so smooth. Honestly I have been in and out hotels but this lady makes our whole stay worth while. I would recommend it highly for Christmas and new year break. I am even thinking about extending. Rooms faces river and my kids are jumping out of joy and happiness 😊 lastly, Thank you so much Sara we wish you happy holidays and great life ahead 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷

I had a beautiful room for my eight night visit. Staff were great and very helpful. Would give 5 stars but for the following:
Bar fridge too small for long stays.
$5 delivery fee for room service is outrageous. Why is this a thing?
Charged $4 on top of breakfast rate for poached eggs (in place of scrambled eggs).
I worked in the hotel industry in my younger years and these charges never existed.

Thank you for a wonderful experience during our stay. We truly appreciated the free drink vouchers for my son’s birthday—it was such a lovely gesture. One suggestion for the future would be to include non-alcoholic options, like mocktails, as not everyone drinks soft or energy drinks. Also please add a little sofa or couch in the room next time:)

I’d like to give a special thanks to Vanessa from buffet breakfast restaurant, and Amanda at reception and Sarah for being so polite, welcoming, and respectful. These ladies at the front desk and in the restaurant Vanessa are truly beautiful inside and out. Amanda & Vanessa, you were especially amazing, and your kindness made our stay even more special. Vanessa special thanks for my son’s special ice chocolate drinks. Hopefully see you next time for another great experience. Thank you, ladies, and God bless!

First time staying here was not great but the staff were very accommodating when things didn't go right and we decided to come back and stay again. To which the second time was a lot better. Room was better, service was better and food was better. Would stay again as it's great value for money. Definitely not perfect. But was still a nice stay.

After standing for 10 hours at a concert. We get to the Vibe hotel at midnight. Our cards we got earlier don’t work. We go back down & the lady at reception tells us, we’ve switched the room & forgot to tell you. We are so exhausted we didn’t want to argue. Just shower & get some rest! The bed has two twin beds put together to make a larger bed. You sink in between. The day of checkout my card stop working at 6am. My partner headed to work at 5am & told Sofia my partner is going to leave at checkout time. Is it anything that needs to be paid. Sofia says no! Well my card stop working at 6am & when I try to get back into my room I’m locked out in night wear. I go to Sofia & she’s over talking me, saying I’m on camera I’m not giving you a card to another person’s room. Like I’m trying to break into rooms! She has to call my partner at work at 6am now! Lucky she answered & said yes he’s on the room & he’s my partner. No apologies from Sofia she just hands me a new card. Starts talking on the phone like I’m not there. I checkout early & Sofia says you need to pay the room service bill. I said that’s not what we agreed on. We are letting everything come out of our bond. She said no that’s not how it works here! Like I’m lying! My partner just came down that morning & worked that out with the Indian gentleman. Everyone was very nice except Sofia!! It was so early in the morning I don’t get mad but ask to speak to her manager. He comes over & says Sofia is so lovely here. So in other words I’m just making this up in my mind! Come to find out Sofia was wrong & she was the person who did the paperwork with my partner & she is the one who put my name down! What a joke! If my partner didn’t answer that morning I would of been locked out of my room in night wear & all my belongings was upstairs. Phone, wallet, & clothes. I ended up getting to work 10 minutes late dealing with Sofia telling me I can’t get into my own room! The other staff members were pretty nice, but Sofia should never work around people! The manager should never start by defending his staff & maybe just take on what the people are saying. He was very nice but please never start a conversation like that after people spend so much at this hotel! We extended our first night but if I would of known all of this I would of spent my money elsewhere!

Great location and customer service. The rooms, however, are showing their age. Bathroom wood is peeling in places. The shower is hard to use. It's literally impossible to set the correct temperature as it's either too hot or too cold. Also, if you are over 6'2", you will have to duck. The roof is very low.

The biggest issue, however, is soundproofing. With an ocean view on the 18th floor, the road noise is terrible. No double glazing on the windows means every poser with a Harley and small PP sports car driver giving it a bit of "ohhh look at me" revving of the engine is echoing into your room. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Also, the ocean is 80% blocked by other towers, so it's not really worth it.
