If you can get a deal - this place really is fantastic value.
Superb location … central - however it can be noisy from the street below into the early hours so if you are a light sleeper you might struggle.
Pillows are not good … but maybe I’m just fussy.
Breakfast buffet selection is really diverse … lots to choose from. Caters for all.
Excellent quick service at the pool bar … they make pretty good cocktails!
Glass on the outside balcony was grubby but if it was too much of an issue, I guess I would have cleaned it …
All reception staff etc are really helpful and professional.
Excellent service at Margot’s as well.
Easy check out process.

Loved every bit of our stay here, the staff is amazing. Lauren and Lewis in Margot’s and Jaz housekeeping was few of the amazing staff we came across during our stay.

We loved the breakfast buffet at catch a good variety of food replenished very fast by the chefs and the wait staff. The location is a Ten.

Loved the fact that the fitness centre was not crowded and had a fair bit of equipment. Pool had slides for kids. This stay was the highlight of our visit to Gold Coast

Our stay at the Hilton Surfers Paradise was nothing short of exceptional – without a doubt, the best hotel experience we've had on the Gold Coast. From the moment we arrived, the staff provided outstanding service, always polite, accommodating, and incredibly professional. The rooms were not only beautiful but offered breathtaking views that made the stay even more memorable.

We were particularly impressed by the variety of pools available, including a tranquil "quiet zone" pool. The continental breakfast was a highlight, and my kids were especially thrilled with the pancake machine that produced hot, fresh pancakes!

What truly made our experience stand out, though, was the thoughtful gesture from the hotel to celebrate our 10-year anniversary. They surprised us with a gift of champagne and truffle chocolates, which made us feel incredibly special and appreciated.

We truly felt well taken care of throughout our stay, and we will certainly be returning to the Hilton Surfers Paradise for our next visit to the Gold Coast.

I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in my time and the Hilton is by far the best one. The staff are absolutely amazing and friendly. They have done nothing but make son happy and were constantly showering him in gifts. The room and facilities were perfect. The buffet was delicious. The executive room was a treat. The food and cocktails were great. And even after checking out we were aloud to stay and use the pools and amenities no drama at all. It’s definitely a stay to remember and one we’ll be gloating about to family and friends. We cannot wait to come back and stay here again. Thank you Hilton Gold Coast

Had a great stay at the Hilton. Upon check in the washing machine, safe, and bedroom TV were not working. However maintenance was able to resolve all of the issues and reception apologized and provided a nice bottle of wine as compensation. That is great service. Many amenities at this property made it a great time as well. Extremely clean. Lots of towels. Comfortable bed. No other complaints just a good stay!

What a wonderful experience for my first time in a Hilton. Level 27 with an amazing city view and part ocean view. Room was amazing for a family with older teens. Everything clean. Beds and pillows comfy. Reception very helpful and polite and air conditioner issue sorted immediately. No noise from the clubs below. Heaps of food options and transport very close.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Our stay at the Hilton Surfers Paradise was far from what we expected, and I cannot recommend it. While the staff were excellent, the condition of the rooms and amenities was unacceptable.

Parking was confusing when we arrived, as we hadn’t collected our room key. We had to scan our credit card to enter, but leaving was simpler as scanning our room key ensured parking was free for guests. This process wasn’t clearly explained, making it frustrating.

At check-in, the hotel had no record of our booking through Flight Centre. While this was a major inconvenience, the manager provided a complimentary room while resolving the issue.

The first room, a Deluxe King, was disappointing. It was dimly lit, lacked a bathtub, and had a cockroach infestation. Housekeeping quickly removed the pests, but a second one appeared, prompting us to request a room change. The manager upgraded us to a Two-Bedroom Apartment for the night, which was clean and comfortable.

The next morning, we were moved to another Deluxe Room, where we found black mould on the bathroom ceiling. This was shocking and concerning for health reasons. The manager upgraded us again to an Executive Room with lounge access. While the lounge was a nice touch, the room had its own issues, including dead bugs under the bedside table.

Despite the staff’s efforts to address problems, the state of the rooms made this one of the worst stays I’ve had. The location is fantastic, but the hotel’s cleanliness and maintenance were unacceptable.

I’ve included photos of the cockroach infestation and mould in this review. Unfortunately, I won’t be staying at the Hilton Surfers Paradise again.

I had the most wonderful experience at the Executive Lounge in Hilton Surfers Paradise during Christmas. The warm welcome made me feel truly special, and the service was exceptional. A special thank you to Kim, who went above and beyond to make my visit memorable. She kindly prepared a perfect lactose-free flat white for me and made sure I felt completely at ease throughout my time in the lounge. It’s rare to find such genuine kindness and attention to detail. I can’t wait to visit again!
