Waited half an hour in a half empty place only to be served inedible leather. Missing a kids meal, waitress was rude and unapologetic. Menu is overpriced. Coffee is less than average. Long wait and substandard food

Only one option for a breakfast roll/burger and it's $20 with avocado, asked if I could substitute for mushroom instead as they're not as expensive as avocado and without the avocado the roll really shouldn't be $20, the worker said yes that can be done then the chef sent someone else over to say no it would be an extra $3 as they don't do substitutes (for any reason, even allergies) so I accepted and paid for my roll without adding extras.

I didn't realise it didn't have bacon on it but only had bacon and onion relish. Went up to ask for bacon to be added because there wasn't any on there and was offered a refund, then the chef again sent someone else over to tell me that wouldn't be an option.
She was incredibly rude to me, kept speaking over me telling me I was repeating what I was saying, asking why it was their problem that I didn't read the menu properly when I never said it was, was in fact preparing to spend more until she was so rude to me I had to leave and go cry in my car. As she kept speaking over me after asking me a question I had to keep starting my answer again.

I told her outright that I'm autistic and about to have a meltdown and she just blatantly said well go have that somewhere else and then asked if I still wanted to pay MORE money to have bacon on my roll added.

I just asked for a takeaway container and left.

Disgusting behaviour, rediculous prices and oily food.

Never going here again and am incredibly disappointed with your worker.

She needs to take a minute to think about how she treats people.
All I wanted was a nice cold drink and bacon & egg roll and now I'm sitting outside Carrara markets having a meltdown in my car because she's upset me so much.

Appalling behaviour and food absolutely nowhere near worth the cost.
Rip-off

Have attached a photo of the $20 roll.

Staff were smiley and helpful. I had the beef sandwich, which was mildly seasoned to my liking, and the portions were just right, not too much. It made me want to come back every week!

I ordered the eggs Benny with hollandaise sauce and pulled beef and waited 50 minutes, with only 3 other tables waiting for food. The food was worth the wait and delicious, but I couldn't understand why it took so long. Service was very friendly. I would recommend this place if you aren't in a rush.

Nice fit out. But that is the most expensive coffee i’ve ever paid for - more than Melb/Syd CBD. Most places charge $0.50-$1 for extra but this establishment charges $2-2.50. Does not make sense considering this is located within a market, assuming that the rent would be lower than a standalone cafe/restaurant.

Coffee nothing to write home about, considering the price ($11)

THIS PLACE IS THE WORST RESTAURANT IN GOLD COAST, DON'T GO AND DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!

You have to waite for the food 1 hour.
The manager of the place (Afina) has zero customer service she is totally rude and aggressive she hasn't control of herself; We made the suggestion that we would like the food take away because we already waited too long and she interrupted us at every time, then started yelling and gets too close, with a defiant attitude even called me "stupid". This person is not trained to deal with other people.

Decent cafe in the middle of the Carrara markets for a quick caffeinated pitstop. Serves Byron bay coffee - slightly bitter. Good is ok with medium to small portions, and has some vegetarian food options in the good sized menu - which nicely has everything available all day.

The food... Is good. Good quality and cooked well. The tacos specifically 🙏. The head and supporting chefs know what their are doing. The staff were so kind! And even allowed some changes to orders even though it was our fault in ordering wrong. I'm shocked the place is only 3stars to be honest. I loved it.
