This is my favourite cafe for breakfast after the gym in Bundall and for lunch occasionally. Sunshine makes the best coffee locally. I do the Thai Chicken or Beef Salad either to dine in or takeaway. Despite it changing hands a while ago, the new owners have maintained the menu. It’s always busy, used by long-term locals and dog-friendly.

Just experienced the most delightful time at this cafe! The atmosphere is peaceful and chilled, creating the perfect ambiance for a relaxing meal. The food was wonderful, and the drinks were refreshingly delightful. A special mention to the cute glass – a delightful touch that added to the overall charm of the place.

The only island thing about it is the chairs and the banana plants outside. Could do with a little more island decor..There was a long wait for our food and considering it was only toast and a sandwich was unwarranted..I got a juice but it was warm,had to ask for ice but it didn't help much. I had artesian fruit toast ,it was very nice with hazelnuts in it..The lemon curd tart was delicious..

Fresh juice was excellent.
Coffee was OK.
The rest of food was not very good. Burger used a premade beef patty. And the side of chips were cooked in the oven or grill rather than deep fried! The chicken and leak pie was very likely a packet pie from Wollies.

Food and coffee was very nice, beautifully presented and well priced. The atmosphere is lovely as is the service from the gentleman. To top it off the music is relaxing unlike many other cafes on the coast where the music is loud and not conducive to relaxation, reflection and conversation. Overall I really enjoyed my experience. Thank you.

Delicious food and coffee. Great customer service. Everybody is welcomed and the staff are friendly. “The boss” is lovely and cares about everyone who comes in.

The energy is great and it’s clearly a popular little spot!

They have perfected the meal sizes, too: just filling enough that you still have room for dessert 😋

Great location, with options to sit in the sun or shade. They also provide little blankets to keep you warm!

Only critique is the waitstaff could be a little bit more friendly and timely with clearing tables.
