We’ve been here multiple times for breakfast, never booked in advance and always lucky to get seated quite quickly. The cafe is beautifully decorated. Good food selection, taste alright. Iced latte a bit too bitter to my liking.

As we are seated indoor, the only thing bothered us is the constant “coffee’s up!” shout every minute, quite loud. Would’ve been better if they use the bell instead of the shouting.

Quick friendly service. Willing to substitute ingredients for my allergies. The food was delicious, and outlook was lovely.

No idea how they cooked the prawns but i have never tasted this flavour. 2 thumbs up!

It was a warm day with a breeze blowing, we sat outside, and the breeze danced over our skin while we enjoyed conversation and food.

We will be back.

Beautiful views at this little cafe situated near the water. They had a high chair for our little one so that was good. The waitresses were friendly but very busy.

We had bacon and eggs, ham and cheese croissant, and smoked salmon with potato croquettes and poached eggs. The food was all nicely presented and the croissant was huge.

I asked for my toast without butter but it still came buttered so I gave it to my daughter and ordered another piece, but the kitchen was busy so by the time it arrived my food had gone cold, but other than that everything was fine.

Just be aware that the parking is limited so it can be a little hard to find a space at busy times, and it’s a pet friendly cafe which is nice.

We have come here a few times and the service has gone downhill fast! Owner pointed us to a table and we were left without menus for 20 minutes. His lack of customer service certainly shows. Waitress also had no idea when it came to ordering and the food took more than 45 mins to come out. Although the food is lovely and the portion sizes are huge something needs to be done about the lack of customer service.

Had a lovely lunch here. It's so nice to be able to sit outside with a view of the lake but the interior styling was really nice as well if you prefer indoors.
The food was so good and they are pet-friendly too which is a huge bonus!

Double Barrel Kitchen and Bar recently hosted an event to celebrate my birthday.
The day of the event was absolutely perfect all the way from the warm welcome shown to every arriving guest by Jess and her team - to the beautifully presented grazing table that perfectly kept our large number of guests well fed over the 5 hour celebration.
The event planning began months earlier when we met with Jess to evaluate options for a birthday event. The selections were numerous and the final decisions over food/venue design/drinks options/deserts and music were made so easy thanks to Jess’s experience and knowledge in the business. Early engagement and effective planning skills by Jess ensured that we were able to enjoy a worry free fabulous day. We had guest attend from overseas, interstate, regional and local - all were very impressed with the marvellous venue, terrific food and professionally conducted event. The music selection was also perfect.
Thank you Team DB. We are so great full for the fond memories from that very important day for myself and my family/friends. There is no other place that I would want to have celebrated.

Guests were warmly welcomed by friendly staff prior to entering the modern restaurant with an extensive grazing table covered in delicious food as the centre piece. Great food, super staff, good location. Highly recommended.
