My partner and I travel to Carrara Markets just for breakfast here. Have been many times and it’s always consistently good!
Atmosphere is lovely with it being right near the water that runs through the market.
Staff are always friendly and inviting.
Highly recommend to anyone!

Have been coming here for years and have always been happy. Quality and speed have always been good.
Today must have been an off day for them. The place was the quietest we have ever seen it, and we waited for our breakfast longer than ever before. The whites of the eggs weren’t cooked on either plate and the food was old and cold, clearly pre-cooked and sitting for a long time before being served to us. The coffee was bitter and not pleasant at all.

No, we decided not to bring it to anyone’s attention today, giving the benefit of the doubt that today was just not a good day for them.

Fresh food, great service. The hamburger was tasty however the beef let the meal down with the appearance, texture and taste of a low quality budget patty experienced. Plenty of seating including an outdoor courtyard for those wishing to escape the crowds.

Basic and over priced. Considering it's a market you would think they would get fresh produce... They charged a fortune for a basic meal that was cold . My kids can cook better. Never again.

Had the smoked salmon eggs benny & it was huge! Service was super quick, staff were amazing and the owner Mikey is an absolute legend! 10/10 totally love this cafe!

The service was nice, and staff friendly. The cafe was bustling full of people. Unfortunately we sat where we could see the kitchen, and it was the most unhygienic I’ve ever seen. Each piece of toast was touched with both hands by one girl, then moved and touched with full palms by another girl. One of the girls cooking was handling raw eggs, then salad and toast etc. There was not one glove in sight. One of the girls was wiping plates with her dirty apron as she was dishing up. This is just the start, but it was sickening to watch, and in plain sight of the customers.

Nice little cafe inside the Carrara Markets. Food is served in large portions at a very reasonable price. Coffee is not too bad either. The service is fast and friendly. Unfortunately it is not dog friendly as is the case for the whole markets.
