We stayed in the caravan park behind the station. What a little gem. Birds on the lagoon, beautiful sunset over the lagoon and shady sites. Great amenities.

I had two tyres repaired here.
It has a great tackle shop with very fair prices.
Yes the service is slower than I'm used to but this is good old fashioned country style.
It's a one man show an with a massive RACQ coverage area, he does a real service for tourists.
I have zero complaints and wish I knew about the caravan park before we came. It looks great and at a good price too.
Unfortunately we stayed elsewhere.

Caravan park does the job - power and water, no views, or family facilities, on the ‘outskirts’ of Karumba Point but still walkable to the boat ramp and pub. More affordable than some of the others in town so if you are happy with a quiet simple location, this is your spot.

We came to visit this lovely sleepy fishing village. This Caravan Park we found by chance. Absolutely lovely. Clean!!! amenities & each shower/toilet rooms were put together. The cleaner come everything was very approachable & friendly. We absolutely recommend this Caravan Park to anyone. Dog friendly, just do the right thing & clean up after you pet/s is a no brainer.

Nice little park and reasonably priced. The toilets were always spotless. The grass was a little sad but then, it was the same everywhere. I wouldn't hesitate staying there again.

Can’t talk to the park, only the service station. There is a great selection of car/trailer parts and early on, we purchased fuel and parts. I was touring in a big group and had a few hiccups in the 2nd week with one of the cars and the garage couldn’t have been more unhelpful…boarding on the most rude and unhelpful service we have ever had. Either he was doing RACQ work, eating across the road at house or just ignoring us when we dropped in. Given its so busy, we go impression they didn’t care. No bother, over the month, we probably spent 2k+ in fuel and parts…but not with you. Kurumba is suffering from that problem where the town is always full because of Covid, but the town just plods along like it always has.

What a misery guts in the garage. Couldn’t have been more unhelpful if he tried. We turned up a couple of times for help and after waiting almost 45mins, he said go to Normanton and turned around. If not for the helpful woman in the fuel stop, we would rate one star. If you are going for the gruff stay out of my way persona, you have nailed it my man. So we did. Our party of 20+ purchased goods/fuel from other options during our three week stay and never bothered or visited again.
