Very close to Greenslopes Hospital, I felt safe and secure, my room was clean and basic and had all I needed. Shuttle bus to/from the hospital was a added bonus. It's a clean establishment near Greenslopes Hospital. More hostel than motel. The private bathroom was good, but there was nothing in the room for drinks or food. There was a nearby common room that was well supplied. However, not even a box of tissues was supplied in the room itself. Seems to be the way nowadays.

Such a comfortable , safe and relaxing place to stay. The facilities are well set up in the kitchen with a very comfortable sitting area. Very friendly staff that make you feel at home. A home away from home! Even includes affordable transport to city. Thank you so much!

Room was dirty, linen was clean. Bathroom looked like it needed a full scrub out. Will never stay there again. The health department would have a field day with the state of the bathroom. All power points were also coated in dust and the glass on the wardrobes was not clean by any chance.

We have just spent 10 days at Isla House when my husband was in hospital. I can't rave enough about it. Lovely spotless rooms and en suites. Large living areas with great communal kitchens with your own fridge and cupboard. Well appointed entertainment lounges and TVs in rooms.|Shuttles to and from airport and hospitals that are well below taxi prices available at all hours. Access to extra towells and linen. Near a variety of shops. Nothing is a trouble to the friendly helpful managers. And all in all it is the perfect most well appointed accommodation you can imagine for medical patients and family with really competitive prices. I would not rate this motel 1 star but had to to post this.
The room was paid in advance but the owner decided to steal money out of my bank account without my authorisation and refuses to refund.
The other guests were very noisy, slamming doors etc, my granddaughter and I got no sleep, I approached the owner about this and she just smiled and didnt care. I also got COVID while staying there, not impressed at all.
If you think about staying at this motel I would strongly suggest you find other accommodation.

The owners are great nice and helpful. It was within walking distance if the hospital specialists. Other guests were very quiet. I would not hesitate to stay there again excellent service.

I recently spent 4 nights at Isla House. From the minute I arrived I felt relaxed. The rooms are very clean and comfy as well as the shared bathrooms. At first I was anxious with sharing a bathroom but it really was not an issue as there is an excellent system in place. Simon is so friendly as well as his mum Seng. The courtesy bus is a great idea. One night I had to call Simon to pick me up and it only cost me $ 5 as it was out of the courtesy bus hours..this is such a valuable service and so much cheaper than a taxi!! The kitchen and lounge rooms situated on both floors are also very clean and the couches are very very comfy !! I highly recommend Isla House !!
