Absolutely LOVE our pool and would highly recommend the company.

The finish of our pool is perfect. No issues at all. We love it so much!

The skills of the tradies were awesome - really experienced staff who knew what they were doing. A great contrast from the horrible experience we’d had with our house builders.

They were honest from the offset regarding possible delays with tradies & giving us a timescale of 4 months from start to finish - however, with their organisation skills and hard work (being on the ball with weather) they had it done within 3 months so really impressed with that.

There was a slight blip with accounts and office staff not being able to do maths or communicate properly but for the quality of our pool and how happy we are with the workmanship we can put that aside - no one is perfect!

It's unfortunate that I have to give a negative review, all the staff at placid pools were excellent and the tradies that turned up at the house were all great. But I have to warn others that the quality of work isn't consistent, and I'm done waiting for someone to show up and fix things. I was pretty happy with the job up until the coping was tiled. Now these pictures of the bull nose tiling were taken after they had a second attempt to fix it. I'd recommend to anyone wanting bull nose edging to get a professional to do the job. Some grout is missing in areas and we've been waiting months for that to be looked at. Also the coping isn't straight on one side it has a curve like a banana.

One thing we learned also is get various quotes for extra work like decking, slabs and tiling. We saved 10 grand by doing this.

Some of the best customer service I have ever received. Friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend if you are a first time pool owner and a little bit clueless with how to manage it, like myself. Will definitely be making Placid Pools my pool supply and maintenance shop.

Used this company to refurbish our pool. Lasted eight years!!! 75% of the pebbletex has lifted and now we have to redo the whole pool again. Rang and spoke to the manager and they didn’t want to know about it. Very disappointed as we know the reason it lifted was from how thin the pebbletex was laid. Cut costs, poor workmanship, looked great but was not meant to last. Would of started lifting earlier, but did not know until we drained the pool for maintenance.
