Two couples stayed at unit 2 which has its own access to the salt water pool. The unit is spacious clean, well equipped with every facility. The patrolled beach directly across the road is great for swimming and walking. Smithfield shopping centre was very convenient and in particular dining Yorkeys Knob Boat Club was delightful. We were very thankful for Trish Cowans help in organising our various tours. Great apartment for couples/families holidays.

Wonderful! The 3 of us rattled around in the apart when better value one bed aparts were full. Our luck in the end since great view. We enjoy self-catering as a better value freedom/change. (Not much choice in the way of walk-able restaurants at time of writing but we had hire-car and shopping centre with Coles food shop short drive up Yorkey's Knob Rd).||||Unit 6, 77 The Esplanade was on top floor which afforded great view of trees then beach across the road but lots if steps involved. Stayed 4 nights in Aug 2013 - paid $1029 AUD in total thru Agoda's in-flexible website that mis-led me to think that I needed to pay an extra $15pn for extra child although accommodation was big enough for 5 or maybe 6 people with one on the sofa. Approach Trish direct if you can since the additional 4th night we bought direct was nicely discounted.||||YK was not as quiet as I had expected but you will have to go further afield for any entertainment apart from sun-bathing (not good snorkeling) and TV or video (yes, video) films. We loved Reef Magic trip although expensive at first glance - the lunch was very good and the marine platform was more stable than the boat which was a God-send for sea-sick bods like me. Two separate hour-long dives were massively good value and Dive-master Damian was a tonic to the confidence of a rusty PADI diver.||||Extremely clean, fantastic location with beaut golden beach across the road with life-guards (extra comfort with our ten yr old son swimming in sea). Parking is no problem. Not so easy to see the house no in the dark. Chosen over Palm Cove/Trinity/Clifton and certainly Cairns which is a mini-city with no beach to speak of.||||Loved Trish - genuinely helpful. Go for it!

We rented 2x 2 bed roomed apartments for a family holiday. Apartments were large & very roomy with large living & 2 bathrooms. Location was ideal for us as it was on the beachfront in a quiet area. There is a cafe right next door with a characterful owner. Smithfield shopping centre is 10min drive away with 2 supermarkets. Apartments were clean & tidy with all expected amenities & a few more. Trish was very friendly & helpful with information. Would be very happy to stay again.

Love it here. Huge apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Right across from the beach, so great views from the balcony. Only about 15 mins drive into Cairns so convenient and much quieter than in town. We have booked a tour to Cooktown and they do pick up from in front of the apartment.

We spent nearly 2 weeks in apartment M2 which is a ground floor apartment.|The apartment is huge, it had a bedroom with 1 double bed and the other bedroom having 3 single beds. There is also a bathroom with a shower cubicle and a bathroom with a bath. Fully equipped kitchen and utensils and there is also a laundry room with washer and tumble dryer. The balcony overlooks the swimming pool and this apartment is the only one to have its own gate access to the pool, the other apartments have to use the communal gate. This makes it a bonus where you can sit on your balcony having a nice glass of wine watching others in your family swim. A garage is also available with the apartment which we found useful. The apartment throughout is extremely clean and well maintained. There are fans in every room and air conditioning in every room. We didn’t use the Air con much as the fans were doing a great job and a few windows open.|Its a quiet place to stay and we never heard any noise from anyone whilst we were there. ||The apartments are Located on the main strip facing the beach and we found it the perfect spot for waking up to hear waves crashing and quick access to the.beach. Although its still stinger season so its not safe to swim outside an area thats not patrolled by lifeguards and stinger nets. You can walk on the beach though. Every beach in this area is the same with Stinger nets not just Yorkies Knob. ||Next door there is a Coffee shop who also stocks bits and bobs like milk etc. A bus stop is located across from the apartments with buses running frequently. Just around the corner is a small shopping complex with a couple of take aways, post office, Bottle shop with great prices and small supermarket. Coming into Yorkies there is a fuel station and Cairns isn’t too far away. |If there is any problems the property manager Lauren is only a phone call or text away and she aims to resolve any issues. The office is only round the corner too. ||We like Yorkies as its nice and relaxed, we also have family living in the area. |The owners and property management company really have thought of everything to help you have a comfortable hassle free stay. We will definitely book this apartment for our next trip.

We stayed at the Mediterranean apartments for 6 nights recently, we could not fault it at all. Most importantly we found the beds very comfortable! it was very well appointed, even as far as games for kids to play that we found in the cupoard, even books etc the Kitchen was well appointed, not that we used it much as it was a holiday from cooking too lol....location was great, especially the view from the lovely balcony. would stay there again most definitely!!!

Our family of four stayed for 3 weeks in Sims Esplenada 29. The apartment is big and very well equiped. It's only a few meters walk to the beach, witch is nice and quiet. And the manager Trish Cowin was most helpful in all kind of questions. Higly recommanded!

The service apartment was quite far away from downtown Cairns. We had to go to the small community center of Yorkeys Knob to buy groceries and had meals.|We had to order Uber or taxi when going to Downtown of Cairns for activities.|There was no safe to store valuables in the service apartment.
