We stayed here over the holidays and I appreciate that they would have been busy however, we found the service from the staff was terrible. We were excited to stay here and left quite disappointed. Our room only got cleaned properly once on the 4 nights we stayed. We kept ourselves busy with activities during the day and came back to our room still not made up at 5pm. The same night, housekeeping knocked on the door at 7pm to see if we needed any extra towels or anything stocked up. I can’t say that this would be usual practice for a highly rated hotel and given the amount we paid. We got our extra bits and pieces from housekeeping but our room was not cleaned in a timely and efficient manner and we certainly didn’t expect late night door knocks. They were not overly attentive and friendly, we definitely expected more and had a less than satisfactory experience. The valet parking staff greeted us and were more welcoming than the reception staff.
We also didn’t expect to have to pay $400 upfront for a security deposit in the event that anything happened. Most hotels take card details and keep it on file and don’t require you to pay $400 out of pocket and get refunded 3-5 days after checkout. Would definitely look elsewhere if we were to stay in Brisbane again.

The staff was very polite and supportive. The location is excellent. However, the food could be improved. Based on the order we had for the event, the portion sizes and specific food items did not meet our expectations compared to previous experiences at other events in different locations.

We had a very nice stay! The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. The hotel was quiet and spotlessly clean, providing a relaxing environment. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place!

My favorite hotel in a while! The staff are lovely here which was a complete game changer. Jan, Daniel, and Jude down at the restaurant were so friendly every time we had breakfast and Emma (barista) makes some of THE BEST coffee I’ve had in a long time (along with stunning latte art). Truly recommend! The pool and lounge were also lovely (wish we could’ve checked out the swim up bar but we weren’t around when it was open. Next time!)

The Westin Brisbane Hotel left an unforgettable impression on me.
The 5-day stay was incredibly comfortable and made even better by the friendly staff, which brought us so much happiness.
The pool was fantastic, and I am especially grateful to Jio at the lounge for their outstanding kindness and care.
I will definitely visit again!

It fulfills what you would expect of a Westin. Room was great, bed comfortable, TV with streaming, modern furnishing, and noiseless housekeeping. The staff was very friendly throughout the hotel! I felt very welcomed. Location is great with most shops and attractions in walking distance. At breakfast at Settimo’s you get coffee and eggs made to order to your table. Only small critique is the in-room dining, which is quite expensive (plus $6 tray charge), and the unbearable selection of music in the common areas (non stop shopping mall/elevator jazz).

Cozy soft bed I melted in.|Unfortunately, did not enjoy the hotel as id like as id fallen sick. Bed was comfortable room was so spacious, clean, hate the Pepsi brand options for mini bar needed lemonade 7up is not lemonade... but i do hope to visit and enjoy the hotel properly in future and in hope to eat at Settimo as i missed on dinner there. Staff were friendly upon check in and out especially the concierge team. I'm finding buffet breakfast are becoming all the same and did hope having club access it'd be a bit more woah but not really and pretty basic non appealing

The bad first.

Laundry services cost $50 for 10 articles of clothing. It feels like they don’t actually want you to use that service.

Breakfast isn’t included. Yes, it’s a nicer breakfast than most hotels include, but it’s the fact you don’t get a choice between a posh dining experience and a “I’m here on business and need to leave right this moment” option.

But that’s it for the bad. This place and its staff are fantastic. Really no need to explain it because it’s as good as you think it is. If you can get a conference here, do it. If you’re passing through and won’t spend much time here, save some money and stay somewhere cheaper.

Very happy with the stay other than the two things I noted. It was a great first impression of Brisbane and Australia. I’d definitely like to stay here again—after I find a laundromat somewhere first.
