Absolutely loved our stay with family and friends at Murphy's creek escape. Beautiful bush camping with plenty to see and do. The kids were never bored.
I see some complain about the train. In our 3 night stay we only heard it a couple of times during the day. It definitely was not a bothersome noise at all and if it passed at night we didn't hear it.
Sites are a great size and each has its own in ground rock surrounded fire pit. Amenities while older were always kept lovely and clean and worked appropriately.
We will definitely return again.

We had the most relaxing time. Our 2 dogs enjoyed the dog area as spacious for 2 Aussie shepherds to run and play. Amenities were clean. Overall would holey recommend this camp ground to anyone. Will be back when we travel south again. Thank you to the friendly staff.

Very easy to book. Beautiful scenery. Peaceful and senere (however no school camp in progress) Awesome swimming hole with interesting rock formation. Check your height restricting before booking there is a low rail bridge on entry, also approx 4 klm of well kept gravel road. Well worth the drive.

We camped here for 3 nights. Perfect place for families with kids, so much to keep them busy. The creek was so refreshing. More toilet/shower blocks would make it perfect. Enjoyed our stay.

Loved this place,
Some parts are a little run down, but the staff were amazing, the property is perfect.
We will definitely be back.
There was water in the creek, swimming was so good
We've picked our spot for next time, and will book again soon.
So many good sites to choose

A great weekend for the family. Perfect venue for all group sizes. I was on a powered site with my van and there was plenty of space. Clean ammenities, although they are dated now. (part of the charm) the river with water in it is great fun to keep the games going all day. will be back. thanks

Absolutely brilliant. We have travelled this country for the last 4 years and this would be one of the best places. The location is great, the wildlife, the bush hikes, the beautiful creek is great for those hot days , obviously depending on rainfalls , eco friendly pool and the staff are amazing. If you love camping this is definitely a place you should consider.

We stayed in the army tents of you don’t mind roughing it a little they are a huge space. We will bw camping in the gypsy wagon this time. Plenty for the kids to do great communal kitchen clean amenities. Even if the creek has no water there a great little eco pool to have a dip in. Feed the birds in the afternoon, archery, ropes course, giant swing great place .
