They have good clean rooms. Beautiful view of the beach. We only went in cooler months because of the airconditioners you have to pay $1/ 3 hrs, price ok but you can’t or they won’t adjust because it costs too much to run, therefore room is not cool. Last time we visited we didn’t feel welcomed, was strange because both Lee & Nev were lovely. Not sure if different owners now. Heard is only a rental and not a resort holiday place now.

I stayed here many years ago when the family were young but had forgotten how beautiful the location is. The units are literally metres from the beach. Couldn't be closer. A lovely pool with views of the ocean; very comfortable, fresh, well thought-out units; courteous and helpful owners; very economical pricing; crimsafe screening which meant the windows and doors were open for the sea-breezes and you can hear the waves at night! Also, the licensed Saunders Beach Bistro a couple of blocks away has excellent meals. Many Thanks. 🙂

Old but the best position, you could be on a tropical island anywhere in the world. The building is old but beautifully clean and Lee the owner is lovely and very helpful. The kitchen is extreamly well stocked with equipment and there is a BBQ you can use. Beds very comfortable. Under cover parking for your car, laundry, pool and good hot showers. We highly recommend a stay here. The only draw back is the coin operated AC

We selected an Ocean View which was a quiet magical spot. The units were a bit tired but they were spacious and clean. Went for several walks on the beach and these holiday units are right on the beach with nothing in between you and the beach. Great overnight stay on your way to your next destination. It is a quiet place, relaxing and a good fishing spot.

My family stayed here the owner was the rudest person they have ever met.I am disgusted with his behaviour I am a local and I certainty will not be recommending this accomodation to anyone. Word of mouth is very powerful in this town. Also who charges people $140 a night and then has a coin operated Airconditioner in North Queensland. What a joke. It's a shame ||Because the location is just lovely.I suggest they need to get out of business you are an embarrassment to Townsville.

So much to love about this place..fabulous views, quiet location and clean room. Excellent half way point between Mackay and Cairns. Short drive off the highway. Perfect for young families and for those who like to be close to nature.

Very wonderful setting. My wife and I stopped for one day and stayed for 3. Units are nice with little equipped kitchens. Beach is Soooo long and very few people. 20-30 minutes to the food store in town. Free Internet! Plenty of Free coconuts too!

Rate 0... I travel for work and not once have we ever had to pay for aircon 1$=3hr not a big deal but to bad you get no remote so aircon is stuck on 23° paying for something you don't get to use 100% of plus didn't tell us till after we paid 660$ 2 people 3 nights

98% sure that the 3 lights 2 fans TV and everything else runs more then 1 aircon for a couple hours ps theses are brand new system i would guess very good on power ?

Croydon is 100% better and it's in the middle of whoop whoop. Spend the extra 15mins and drive to townsville and stay there. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! They say they have wifi but doesn't work at all?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️
