Very friendly greeting on arrival. Our first time there, all staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was better than I expected. I had the burger with the lot and my wife the chicken caesar burger. Great to see someone making their own burger patties instead of buying them in, could do with something to bind it though. It was tasty however. My wife's chicken was thigh fillet so it was nice and juicy also delicious as was the southern style coating. Prices reasonable on food and drink as well as a seniors menu. Became a member on the way out to get even more benefits. Will definitely be back. Can recommend it to anyone who lives nearby. ‍?

The dining area is lovely, more like a restaurant and good service. Steak tasted lovely and the chips were amazing. The dressing on the salad was a bit overdone. Overall, good value for money and my parents really got a great deal with the $17 seniors steak and chips. I would definitely come back.

Staff were warm and friendly, so no notes there. Caesar salad was extremely large, but it didn't taste great honestly and was very expensive for a salad ($28). I really would've preferred to have a smaller options for less since many of the meals were quite large.
Also music was so loud that we couldn't hear anything properly. The performer was good, but it was just way too loud.

Hubby enjoyed his Burpo burger with the lot. I had the Pumpkin Pesto Chicken with sweet potato and broccoli.
I wouldn't order this again. The chicken was steamed not grilled and a bit rubbery, the sweet potato under done and crunchy, the broccoli was nice.
I would come back again and try something else. The menu is quite extensive and staff are friendly.

First time visit. Tavern had a good atmosphere and staff were pleasant. Had Seniors lunch so was well priced. My Roast was a large meal with 7 vegetables...yay... and plenty of gravy. My friend had the Calamari with Chips and Salad which she said was very nice and was a good sized meal also. Dessert of Chocolate Mousse or Apple Crumble was offered for $2 as part of the Senior lunch deal but we could not fit that in lol.
Will definately visit again.

Random stop by for dinner on Monday night and was impressed with the meals we had. Great price, heaps of specials and variety on offer with a big range of beverages to suit. Service was excellent cheers

Consistently good food at an affordable price, especially on Wednesdays and Mondays where the steaks meals are on special. Fast service with a smile, but please book ahead to ensure you can get a table as it can get busy.

Undercooked crab. Warm oysters. Brought it to the attention of staff. Reply was iam the only customer to complain. Then sent off email. Reply it is cooked to food safety standards.
