Elizabeth is an very friendly and knowledgeable hostess who provided us with a wealth of information about the area. Andarr is directly across the road from the river. Our room had river views and was clean and comfortable. The freshly made breakfast muffins were delicious.

Breakfast in the formal dining room was included in the cost and we chose to have delicious home cooked evening meals there as well. Elizabeth is a wealth of information and an amazing cook. Her place gave us privacy not found in motels. It's clean, tranquil, affordable and I would highly recommend.

In a word, character. This place oozes character, including the charming proprietress, Elizabeth. It is bang on the river bank and for breakfast Elizabeth had cooked up some plum damper for us - a very tasty treat.

Was is in a great location across from the river and river walkway, down the road from Australian Hotel for a good pub meal and not too far from Riversands Winery
