The 2 bedroom apartment is a little dated, but it's clean and comfortable. It's had a fresh coat of paint which really lifts the rooms. Love the pool, its quite large, good for laps or just floating around. It's close to the beach, eateries and shopping, and is very reasonably priced. I would definately stay here again. Arranged with Caroline the owner for a late check out, and she was very accommodating. Thank you very much Caroline!

Nice little apartment for that time away from home. Had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the apartment was tidy and clean. Only problem was the sofas need updated as you sunk down into them too far. We saw the owner on our first day booking in but then never saw them again, had to contact over phone. Nice place , would definitely book again.

This is a no nonsense and pleasant place to stay. We ( myself and 2 teenage grandsons)||had 2 b/rooms and all the space we wanted. There is a large swimming pool in the centre of the grounds which we appreciated. The best part of Gulls is the quiet street near to the Strand with an easy access to the single level accommodation. Only one issue...no hair dryer!

Only 12 apartments all situated around the swimming pool. Our two bedroomed apartment was spotlessly clean with comfy beds, nice linen and towels. It was quite spacious with a lovely little covered patio . Peaceful location with very little traffic passing by. Close enough to walk to the Strand and Jezzine Baracks. Coles supermarket is a short drive away. An excellent place to stay.

I had a stay of 4 days and was happy with accommodation. Its not flash but quite acceptable for apartment living. My room looked out onto the above ground pool, albeit not used by anyone while I was there.||Very quite area and walking distance to some restaurants and the beach. Jezzine Barracks and Army museum close by also. It is desirable to have a vehicle though to get around. The unit parking is at the rear, but one needs care in accessing as it is parallel to the room and aircon and washing machine can be a trap.||The kitchen is well prepared with all items necessary to wash dishes and keep implements clean.||I would be most happy to stay again.

Reliable administration staff, CLEAN, friendly, close to town and the Strand. Excellent choice of accommodation. We travel regularly all over Australia and The Gulls Apartments ring every bell. An absolute delightful experience each and every time we stay have stayed here over the past 6 years.

Clean rooms, with washing machine, outdoor clothes line, nice pool with outdoor tables to sit at. Free wifi was really good. Covered parking right by door. Location is really good - short walk to jezinine barracks, lagoon and the strand. Recommend also going up the castle hill. Very comfy stay and great base to explore townsville.

Within walking distance of the strand and Jezzine Barracks the motel is well suited for a pleasant stay. The rooms area good size comfortable and clean. We suited to a family looking to save on accommodation costs. Fully contained apartments such as kitchen and washing machine. Well worth considering if your not after a luxury apartment in the night life area of town.
