Locations, stone throw to entrance of hospital.

Rooms..comfortable, clean has what you need for your long stays.

Services... my room was supposed to be cleaned every week, and that never happened until I complained one day tell them again they didn't do our room with my husband coming back after having open heart surgery

I've seen in many reviews that the rooms in this apartment complex are dirty & musty. In my case, it was completely the opposite. Extremely clean & tidy room with excellent facilities. Would be perfect for those staying more than a few days as there is a kitchen with many utensils, so a visit to the supermarket for supplies would work well. Dozens of Foxtel TV channels & free WiFi.

Excellent location for those with relatives in St Vincent's or the Chermside Hospital. Only a few minute's walk away.

My only complaints are that the bathroom floor is extremely slippery when wet & although there are many hand rails, I feel a fall could easily happen. Secondly, there was no table or chairs within the room. There was, however, a small table & 2 chairs outside on the balcony.

I stayed at Essence Apartments on 28th December 2024, and the experience was far from pleasant. The services were terrible, and their claim of “breakfast included” is a complete joke. The “breakfast” was literally just a small carton of milk and a single cereal bar.

On top of that, they required a deposit of $50 per card OR $200 in cash, which felt like a total scam. To make it even worse, they never gave the money back! If I could, I would add proof because I still have all the receipts.

Honestly, I would rather pay $1,000 somewhere else than ever go back there!

It's a nice place but for people trying to look after they loved ones in hospital I'll put a big hole in your wallet ..much cheaper options not that far away.. save your money for food and other things than just a bed..cost me around for 525 only 2 nights ..down the road 130 a night ..huge difference ..ptss doesn't cover that much.. get charged for "events" that's are no where near essence

Our apartment was clean and very comfortable.
Shower was awesome. Parking was great and easily accessible. The staff at Essence apartments are fantastic, no request was an issue, they couldn’t have made us feel more welcome.
Definitely recommend to anyone!

Have stayed here twice now, and both times have been impressed. The location is so close to the hospital, and the rooms and facilities are just perfect. I am especially appreciative of Al for his empathy and assisting us during a very sad time of our life. Thank you Al

essence apartments chermside is a nice place to stay. it backs onto Prince Charles hospital if that’s where you need to be or about a 20-25 minute walk to Chermside Mall and if you’ve shopped all day and you need to get an uber to help bring your shopping back it a $9.35 ride away and the city is a 15-20 minute bus ride away. The reception staff are very pleasant and helpful especially Aldryx who helped me on a daily basis with any information i need to ask about you are an asset to the business. The rooms are clean and has everything you need, there’s a guest lounge and outside seating area, vending machines and the laundry is handy and easy to use.

Fantastic place to stay. Just a short walk to Prince Charles Hospital. Lovely clean rooms with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Secure undercover parking and wonderful welcoming staff. Thank you so much. We will be staying again in the future.
