Stayed for work. Location for where I needed to be was perfect.
Pro's - The room was comfy and clean. The air-conditioning was cool. Great blackout curtains and no noise from outside.
Loved that there was a balcony to sit on.
Reception is 24/7.
Loads of shops around the hotel.
Carparking was easy and secure.
Cons-The room service menu was a bit disappointing with its choices, especially if you're staying a few days, it's limited.
The breakfast menu was on my door when I arrived, and I had breakfast on the first day. But I was never left another menu. Yes, I could have asked for one, but I shouldn't really have to.

The staff at the reception were fabulous. It is rare these days to encounter such friendly, helpful and resourceful staff willing to help customers with every challenge. Miss Chi at reception was so kind to lend me her umbrella to help me visit places in heavy rain. Other reception staff were very helpful, patient and supportive too.

Great rooms but disappointing dining.|We stayed a total of 20 days over 3 months for work and were very disappointed with the food. Tried just about everything and was underwhelmed with the menu- steaks hit and miss, and most other menu items were just ok- with the basics like hot chips and a tasty salad (not just a pile of mixed lettuce) often missed-breakfast didn’t change at all over our stays and it all seemed a little “unloved”-for the prices we would expect more. For a great accommodation facility with friendly staff the restaurant doesn’t match the level expected.|Revamping the menu with fresh NT produce, consistent standards and some love an imagination would help.

Lovely, friendly staff. The room was great, comfy bed, prompt room service. The food was very good too. The dining room had a good atmosphere and the al fresco area next to the pool was a great spot to enjoy my smoky burger. There was a little noise from across the road one night, but that was nothing to do with Rydges. I will definitely stay there again 🙂

Positives: Buffet Breakfast was beautiful and room was extremely clean.
Negatives: Got woken up at 3:00am by a false fire alarm, couldn’t get a good nights sleep for our whole stay due to a raging club next door, TV didn’t work even though the website advertises it’s a “smart TV”, king bed was really just two beds pushed together.

Overall it’s a nice hotel but not really worth the $620 that we paid for two nights.

I had a wonderful experience at Rydges Palmerston! The staff were incredible – attentive, friendly, and truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. The restaurant and food service were also remarkable. Every meal was delicious and beautifully presented, highlighting their commitment to quality and great service. Stayed a week in one room self contained apartment - best blackout curtains! Fantastic breakfast choices. Cannot fault anything clean and tidy. Came for sons wedding - held in Cellar Room. Food and service were superb. Cocktails by the pool, delicious. Easy to get around close to everything we wanted to see and do 20 mins to City, Cullen Bay, Mindl Beach, walking distance to shopping centres. Will be back!

The staff always greet with a smile and nothing seems like too much trouble. The rooms are generous in size with king size beds and all the creature comforts. The restaurant has a real Australiana feel with cocodile, barramundi and kangaroo on the menu. The pool and gym areas are also well worth a mention and help make this place an award winning Hotel.
