Nice & balmy little park with an outback oasis feel to it. Clean amenities, van sites are decent, and the two pools are 130 metres apart to choose from, if one is overcrowded.
The stuff are friendly and helpful,,, especially the grounds & maintenance guys. Laid back and very approachable. lol lol

Highly recommended, and this will be my go-to parks on the next trip*

We stayed in the double cabin. It was clean and had everything you’d expect. We did run out of shower gel on the first night and expected it to be restocked, it wasnt. The park was well maintained and tidy. The pools both well kept. We didn’t see any staff so we had to check ourselves in and out. It is located about 10 kms out of town so it would have been nice if they had a shop to get a hot coffee however there was instant coffee in the room. All in all a good place to rest your head.

We weren't sure what to expect when we booked a 2-Bedroom Cottage. It was way over the top. First, it is brand new. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a lovely Bathroom, 2 goodsize bedrooms, one with a King Bed and 1 with 2 Twin Beds. It has a Washer/Dryer inside the unit in the Bathroom. The place was sparkling clean, beds made up with nice linens and towels in the Bathroom. This would easily accomodate a family of 4. 3 different Air Conditioners, 1 in the Family Room and 1 in each Bedroom. ||Kaitlin and the check-in staff are terrific and so helpful. ||We are from the US and this is our first experience in the Outback. There is lots to do in the Katherine area. It has been a fun journey and Discovery Parks has been a great find.

Clean tidy and organised friendly staff. Recent upgrades are having a great impact. The new 2 bedroom cabins are superb and well situated and suited to a family or two couples. The new pool is beautiful with a large beach area suited to a wide range of swimmers

Where do I begin? We have stayed at so many holiday parks in Australia... this was creme de la creme!! An amzing brand new beautiful deluxe double room cabin on high stilts overlooking the most gorgeous pristine pool and Out back surrounds, with glorious cours of the sunset before our eyes. New and top of the line washer (dryer in one) did hard work for us as we were touring through the Top End. It felt worlds away from the rest of mankind yet had all the luxuries of a most comfortable 2 nights after all day canoeing at the "must see and bucket List" Katharine Gorge. I would dearly love to go back and take it all in one more time! Thank you team, and thank you for the kind late check out at 12 noon! We loved our stay beyond words....!!

Nice park out of town, closer to the national parks.
We enjoyed our stay here.
There were lots of shady areas, and it was very green, especially considering our visit was towards the end of the dry season.

Went with Discovery in Katherine. A lot of construction is going on at this site at the moment - they are building apartment type villas so quite a bit of noise. Wish I had stayed at the Big4 closer to the hot springs. The Discovery is closer to the Gorge but far away from town. The park itself is like any other discovery park - a bit of land to put down your caravan, amenities were average. Despite the park being 80% empty, they parked everyone next door to each other. I wont be back.
