I have stayed here a few times when passing through Alice Springs over the years. The room we had had recently been updated. The pool bar and cafe/restaurant closed at the moment but breakfast bar open. Plus Hanumans for a meal if you want. Clean, spacious, modern and comfortable. We were able to check in early which was a blessing. The welcome cookies were quickly eaten by our son! The pool was cool and refreshing. The peacock roaming about is a novelty! The location quiet and safe. Secure car parking. Never had a problem here and will likely stay again in the future.

The only issue was that service was a little slow and sometimes the staff didn't know the answer. However they were friendly and nothing we asked for was too hard. We had too chase a drinks order when there were hardly any guests about (so not busy). They found the answers and sorted the issue. Just lacking the polish I expect to earn 5 stars. Had a wonderful stay. This place has everything you need, well equipped gym, conference rooms, ball room, bar, restaurant, gift shop and beauty salon. Great pool with shade and spa.

When you are waiting on your house and you have to stay in a hotel for several months, this is the place you want to be. The staff is exceptional! I could list the names but there are so many! This place has been great! Located by the golf course, casinos, and restaurants but walking distance to town. The rooms are clean and comfortable. And let’s not forget the famous peacock, Andrew!! Myself and my family had a wonderful experience staying at the Doubletree. Best wishes to all of the staff that made our introduction to Alice Springs welcoming!

We had a seven night stay here and booked a great deal though Qantas hotels which was much cheaper than booking direct. We paid $188 a night and even though we had not booked direct, they noted my Silver honors account and gave us an upgrade to a mountain view room. The hotel is in a great location out of the city centre and about a 20 minute walk from there. They have secure parking (only challenge was opening the gate as it was hard to position the car to unlock with the room card). The staff were welcoming and the housekeepers were from the Pacific and very nice. The room was large and comfortable with hot chocolate and tea provided every day. Bathroom OK but the hot water was a bit sporadic. ||Only complaint was the pool heater was broken so the water was colder than the sea in Tasmania... and that is cold. I lasted 5 minutes. The hot tub was not that warm and the sauna was broken. Come on - we know you are remote but pay to get these fixed! Fly someone in if you have to.||But overall a 5* stay and we would stay again. We love the welcome cookies as well.

One night stay purely as a stopover whilst travelling. Large hotel a little away from the town centre. Room was pretty standard - spacious and comfortable, with a mountain view and overlooking the golf course (and the driving range - dozens of balls landing on the hotel grass outside). Had a light dinner in the bar which was fine, plus the breakfast buffet which was as expected. Small gym (including by Hilton standards) was ok. Oddly for Hilton the bathroom lacked any amenity kits.

A really comfortable bed, with very clean rooms and facilities.

The staff were all very friendly and provided wonderful service.

There is a choice of eating options on site for various times of the day. You can also easily walk around to the golf club if you need to stretch your legs.

Only a 15 minute drive from the airport and the town centre is less than a 30 minute walk via the Botanic gardens.

My only criticism of the hotel is that it lacked a lot of natural lighting and felt a little claustrophobic.

Stayed here 3 nights. Hotel very large. We had a lovely room looking at the macdonnell ranges and the golf course. Breakfast was very good lots of choices eggs made to order. Happy and friendly staff always super helpful. Pool I felt was chilly too chilly for this Qlder. Please note if you have a mobility issue even though we had advised our agent, we had a shower in a bath which was very difficult to get into and out off. Was told by Reshma hotel staff member all rooms have baths. Our particular room had lovely fresh carpet and curtains and comfy bed. Hotel in general is freezing, so I needed a shawl at breakfast!!! Felt very safe here. Elevators look very retro and need a bit of TLC but worked fine
