Alice Springs Tourist Park - Araluen, Northern Territory

We stayed at this lovely park for 4 nights on a powered caravan site. We had a lovely shady site, with native birds visiting constantly. The amenities block appeared a little dated, however, toilets were kept immaculate andvthe showers were nice with great water pressure and temperature. Close enough to the shops but far enough out from the centre of town to avoid any ofvthe recent troubles in Alice

We blew into Alice after 25 days on the road and camping in a small tent. We took a cabin with ensuite at the Tourist Park and it was heaven. The cabin, a little on the old side was clean and comfortable having everything one would need. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly, the park quiet and very conveniently located. We will happily return.

Central location for shopping, and easy access to East and West McDonald ranges.
Booked ahead on line, and on arrival we were allocated a site, but were given the opportunity to use a drive through site if we wanted.
The allocated site was very narrow, and there were some drive through sites available. So took the easy drive through site instead.
Staff advised us to lock everything away at night, and ensure doors kept lock.

The amenities are clean, but aged.

Solo traveler and rented a powered site. I found the staff friendly and helpful. Camp kitchen and amenities were clean working. Proximity to town and attractions was good. Good value, would stay again.

This camp site was the best, I had a spacious area, on walking distance to the great and clean amenities, all for free included in affordable prices. Their camp kitchen was fantastic, and cozy with cover, tables and chairs to meet others around mealtime. Very friendly and helpful staff, and incredibly clean and welcoming. I went to the Cultural precinct just on the other side of the road, and took the shuttle bus by night to the Parrtjima festival in the Desert Park. A safe comfortable base, thank you for everything ?♥️?⛺️

Quiet, clean and good security…good base to visit area …or just passing thro’
Good laundry and bathroom facilities…great facilities in camp kitchen…dog friendly too
Did not stay in room…camper trailer

This is not just a caravan park. These are people who go their way to help you n make sure you are looked after. During Alice Beanie Festival, I have no car, Cyril drove me to Desert Park and Liz the Manager picked me up on her day off after I walked on this amazing park. I 'll be back. Thku very much. What a lovely place! We booked last minute to stay here one night and ended up extending our stay. The staff are lovely. Stefania was super attentive, welcoming and we loved her way to communicate with us! The owner tried to do her best to let us stay one more night as they were fully booked that night. She made our stay so special and we almost felt at home!
Very helpful people there!! We’ll never be more thankful!!! Did so many washing and dryers after such a long trip. Laundry is well equipped with washing machines and dryers. Toilets are cleaned every day and the kitchen is amazing! 10/10.
Grassed areas with lots of trees and lovely birds.
The place is super safe and sicure!!!!
Looking forward to seeing you soon! Thank you again for everything!
