Our family of 5 had a great 2 week stay here with over Christmas, the staff were wonderful and we woke on Christmas morning to a little gift pack for kids which was very thoughtful. On NYE they also gave some fun things like glow sticks and bubble wands with fun activities for kids on New Year’s Day. We enjoyed the pool and slide. Amenities were very clean and lots of reminders about keeping our camp and vehicles locked up but we didn’t have any trouble while there. Overall great experience and we will be back!

Very friendly staff. Great location. All amenities spotless! Great pool area. I would have given a 5 star rating, only for the fact the caravans were too tightly crammed together in one specific area, especially when it was very obvious to see the park was no where close to being full, there was an abundance of other spots available.

Stayed here for 3 nights while in town for the beanie festival in one of the standard 2 bedroom cabins and it was just the right size for us as a couple with a fully packed car. Happy with the cleanliness of the space for the price when you factor in all the other facilities on site too. This caravan park had the most tidy and easy to use laundry room out of all the parks we visited in. There were friendly staff and a well stocked general store, used to pool in the non-busy hours - beautifully warm water even in the middle of winter, very happy that the pool wasn't closed in winter either.|Security was great, fully fenced all around with fob for both car and pedestrian entry/exit. While you are a short drive from town, you can still walk across the road to the Brewery for dinner. |Would definitely come back and stay here with kids with the amount they have available to keep them entertained.

What a great park. Extremely safe, staff are incredibly helpful, welcoming and friendly, enough space on one unpowered site for 2 coaster buses, hardly anyone in the park because there’s so much room, the pool was really nice ( the slide is a bonus ), not the mention the weekly activities that are held within the park such as movie nights, cook ups and dancing, having an air conditioned gym and reading room at a caravan park is unreal.
Ended up coming back and staying again because it was so nice.
Thankyou guys

We were camping, no kids, 2 dogs. Upon check-in I informed the reception staff the size van we had. Despite me asking about a drive through site, and the place being less than 1/4 full we were put across from the jumping pillow. Upon arriving at the site, a large pole at the rear of the site meant we couldn't make use of the entire site without our drawbar overhanging on the road. We moved the van over, but this resulted in the rear of the van encroaching on the site behind. Upon reviewing the other vans around us, the all appeared to be 16-18 foot vans. Ours is 22. The next day another 22ft van tried for 15 minutes to get in beside us and didn't fit either. These people were moved to a larger site.
I had gone to reception to inform them of the problem, but they weren't interested.
Will we be back, probably Not!

I'm quite happy about staying here at Discovery Park, Alice Springs. We are only camping here, but there are lots of things to keep the children entertained. We have our own toilet and shower block, which is a little bit of luxury for us. There are a couple of food vans here, too. A night off cooking if you like. The amenities are nice and clean, and the staff are nice and friendly.

Amazing, quiet, secure, clean park with many excellent facilities. Friendly helpful staff at check in, pancakes on Sundays for those weary travellers who have run out of food and a choice of 4 pools and slides for kids. Superb- this is undoubtedly the best site we’ve found so far. |And it’s next door to a brewery. ?

The park is great, and the staff were all fantastic.
Was great to have food facilities inside the park, and the Brewery being within walking distance is a massive bonus.

This didn't impact my review, but caravan parks really need to consider having smoking zones or smoking/non-smoking sites.
We were camped for several days beside very heavy smokers, which made it impossible to sit outside our van, or open the windows.
