This is the second Christmas Day Lunch we have had at the restaurant. This is a difficult time, but staff were excellent in clearing away dishes, providing clean ones, bringing drinks, keeping the buffet well-stocked and generally - and genuinely - being cheerful. Consequently the food was excellent, as was the room service later on.|| (I note that one reviewer expected a chef to be at hand to underatke specialised cooking, on another occasion this month- I found this to be a surprising expectation, at such a rural hotel).||Very kindly the staff allocated us and my sister the same rooms as Christmas 2023. This was much appreciated. The place and staff continue to be delightful.

Great value for money hotel. Excellent restaurant and bar. great staff. We had an excellent evening meal. Good wine selection too. Very enjoyable experience. Easy parking. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Close to the golf course and easy walk into Bowral.

Impressed by advertisements about the breakfast experience at the Berida hotel some friends and we decided to go there and try it out. All we found was a pleasant but not very professional staff assisting a very standard buffet. There were no special dishes prepared on the spot by a qualified chef. The pancake I ordered was nothing out of the ordinary and the bacon in the dish on the bar was not the crispy delight I had been hoping for. On top of all that the cost was exorbitant for what we got.

I try to come here annually as such a lovely spot, staff, restaurant, facilities. Can't wait until the pool and spa area reopens, it was fabulous before so I'm sure will be even better. Restaurant is lovely, make sure to make a booking for dinner. Breakfast is a bit expensive but worth it to add onto the experience.|I've come here for a mother/daughter getaway and a couples weekend - both fabulous.

We have stayed at Berida Hotel several times, mostly around our wedding anniversary. We love everything about the hotel - location, generous room sizes, the feeling of staying in someone's lovely home, great restaurant and the friendly staff on reception and in the restaurant. The drive from Sydney is just 90 minutes, making Bowral the perfect spot for a short break.

I haven’t stayed at the Berida Hotel, my daughter will be staying there at the end of January. I just want to shout out to Zoe who works at Reception. I emailed the Hotel today to ask if they could send through a nice letter confirmation as I wanted to give it to my daughter for Xmas as I had paid for her accommodation in January as a gift. Zoe at reception responded back with not one but two versions of the confirmation to chose from plus she said if there was anything she could do, to not hesitate to let her know. Such great service which can be hard to come by nowadays. If my daughter’s stay at the hotel is a reflection of Zoe’s customer service, she is in for a great night. Because of this, I will be organising a stay at the hotel myself soon and would highly recommend it to friends and family.

The service from Hal in the restaurant was really excellent. Hell ||His attitude was 10 out of 10 service with 10 out of 10 and he looked after us really well. ||Also when I went to Reception Zoe was an absolute delight and couldn’t have been more helpful.||The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and a great location. Will definitely come back.

This was my fifth stay at the Berida, and I’ve always loved my time there. Unfortunately, this will be my last. We stayed for one night, and our package included a room, a dinner voucher, welcome drinks, and breakfast with use of a Tesla charger for additional costs but the convenience sounded great

During our stay, we met up with some old friends who decided to join us for dinner, turning our reservation from a table for two to a table for four, which was lovely. However, that night, we were woken up by a message from Tesla, informing us that if we didn’t unplug our car, we would be charged an additional fee. Not exactly the message you want to receive while sleeping, especially when we were the only ones using the chargers that night.

The next morning, we had breakfast, which was included in the package. However, if you wanted a real coffee, there was an extra charge. Considering we had already spent over $600 on accommodation and meals, this left us feeling very unwelcome. It wasn’t about the cost of the coffee, but more about how the guests are valued.

I contacted management to share my experience, and they suggested waiting to see if they could win me back. Their offer was a room upgrade next time and a free coffee.
I’m sorry but definitely won’t be returning
