Great place for a beach getaway.. only a short walk down the back of the building past the heated pool and spa.. across the road is SNAPPER.. the famous surf spot and beautiful beach. And out the front door a quick 5min walk and youre at the top of D'BAH.. It's a quiet part.. not like the busy and noisy Coolangatta.. but only 10min walk away if you want the night-life and restaurants. The apartments are very spacious. And the staff are very helpful and friendly.. full of local knowledge. I highly recommend staying here. 5 ☆ for me.. love having a heated spa

We were part of a 16 person sports team participating in a World Championship event in March. Max and Karen were fabulous hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. The units were very clean and spacious with large lounges and two seperate bathroom and toilet facilities. The place was quiet and restful. Great views. The pools were wonderful for our members to relax and recover in. The location was fabulous. Our whole team loved staying here and we will certainly be back again. Highly recommended. We had a 3 day stay and had a great time, perfect location in a quiet area, short walk to the beach, lovely pool area. Our 2 bedroom unit was a great size although looking a little run down. Very dated bathrooms and laundry which require a revamp. The unit was immaculately clean. No air conditioning might be an issue when the weather heats up but a lovely breeze saved us from the heat.

I stayed two weeks with my family including two small children, and we loved the Rainbow Commodore. Fantastic location, easy walk to Rainbow Bay beach, only couple minutes walk up to the incredible Point Danger lookout (where you can see whales galore during the migration season), and 10 minutes walk up to Coolangatta shops. The apartment we stayed in was very clean and well maintained, we have been staying in lots of apartments on the Gold Coast and this was the cleanest. Lovely view out to beach and lots of windows front and back to get the breezes. The on-site managers Karen and Max were so accommodating and helpful, we loved our stay and really did not want to leave!

Absolutely loved staying at Rainbow Commodore!

The location is fantastic, with view straight to the beach at Snapper Rocks, we tucked away from the hectic Main Street. Perfect if you’re a surfer, you can access the waves quickly and directly from the apartments.

The apartments are extremely well appointed, comfortable and clean - you could easily stay here long term!

I loved my stay at Rainbow Commodore - will certainly be booking again.

14 of us were visiting a friend in Rainbow Bay to celebrate a significant birthday. We decided to stay at Rainbow Commodore based on friends’ recommendations. We had three apartments with guest ages ranging from 3 to 71 quite an ask to keep entertained. Except for the birthday lunch we spent the whole time at the resort. The Managers were amazing and made sure we made the most of their facilities. We moved from pool table to terrace effortlessly with lots of laughs and good times. The units were spotless, facilities up to the mark and beds heavenly. So comfy! Aspect looking over Rainbow Bay and up to Surfers can’t be beaten. This is a gem. Your holiday will be memorable and the Managers Karen and Max must be congratulated on their outstanding property and service.

We spent just over three weeks at this great accomodation in February / March - and loved it! . Our apartment was clean and comfortable and airy with ocean views from three balconies! The staff were great. The Pool was pristine. Max and Karen were very welcoming and helpful hosts.

Great place to stay, clean, tidy, comfortable, quiet, safe and walking distance to everything. Three supermarkets and shops walking distance-10mins from apartment. One road back from the beach. Karen and Max lovely host's. Been here about 4 times and never disappointed. Will be back again next year.Thanks for a great comfortable stay.
