Absolutely brilliant location. Walking distance to clubs, pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops. Across the road from the beach and the foreshore walking track which you can enjoy for kilometres.
The apartments themselves are modern and immaculate. The complex facilities are fantastic. These include a large communal kitchen along with external BBQ area, large, yet cozy seating area with library and television. The pool is lovely, though too cool when we were there to try it.
Overall a five star experience.

Five wonderful days with 6 mates for Long Tan, Vietnam Veterans' day, spent at the Currumbin RSL. Excellent accomodation, wonderful caring staff, first class location walking distance to everything. Three surfs clubs close by with reasonably priced dining and good company. The beach opposite the accommodation is great for a swim or a walk. We'll be back and looking forward to returning. Only 10 minutes from the Coolangatta Airport about $20 by taxi (they provide a good
service). Great views across Rainbow Bay to the skyline buildings of the Gold Coast. None of the Gold Coast hustle and
bustle and glitz. All in all just relaxing.

This is the ADFs best kept secret. At George’s was set up 100 years ago for Returned Servicemen and families to recuperate and relax back in Australia. Made available to Defence members, veterans and families, St George’s continues to provide sanctuary and healing.

Open to serving and retired ADF personnel only, this new facility offers excellent value and quality accommodation. Those who recall the old brick built building will find that has long gone, with a brand new purpose built, generously proportioned en-suite wheel chair accessible bathrooms. Kitchenettes are in every room but only the four 2 room suites have ovens. Most rooms overlook the bay but some are to the rear the building. Lots of families were there during our stay but they get many older veterans too. Remember your 'reservation' is only an application to stay.

For Veterans only, these units are terrific, great location at Rainbow Bay, clean comfy and cheap. Great friendly staff and units are right across the road from ocean with great view’s. Worth six stars.

Staff are all so friendly & helpful .
The facilities are everything you need .

Perfectly located in peaceful Rainbow Bay. The facility is just inviting for a good stay away from home. We love coming annually for a winter break. Staff friendly and helpful.
