I came here with my boyfriend to celebrate my 25th birthday and I couldn’t be happier! We got a warm welcome, the bedroom was very tidy and clean. Direct access to the beach makes everything even better! I will come back for sure and I would recommend it to everyone.

It was a pleasant surprise to find this charming and pleasant place, facing the sea, for a fair price and in a great location. The room with beautiful decoration and high quality amenities, denote the care with every detail. The bikes are a cool add on 🙂 I will be back for sure.

New find for myself, my fiancee and I love a good weekend staycation and we found this place on booking.com, but booked through their website - which I recommend. The price was great and breakfast was included on weekends, I think we paid just around $200 for the night. The place is a few steps from the beach and the view from the front, of the ocean, is stunning. The rooms are smaller but they're feature packed with a queen bed and a bath. The bed is really comfortable too. It's really clean and the staff there went above and beyond, very helpful and I have absolutely no complaints. It has a pool around the inside of the property and it's the perfect size, it's got a few cabanas and sun chairs around the place. Perfect place to chill. The location, close to Coolangatta and next to the beach, is perfect, couldn't be a better spot on the coast.

All in all, I have absolutely no complaints, it's beautiful - the rooms, the location and the complex in general - the service was spectacular and the price was perfect.

Highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay on the southern Gold Coast particularly, and Gold Coast in general

Tessa’s was a great place to stay, close to the beach and an easy bike ride to Kirra and Tugun. Bikes were great! Comfortable beds and great service. Thanks guys!

Was meant to stay 2 nights but only stayed thete 1 as the bed was extremely squeaky, the walls were not soundproof and you could hear everything. Young children next door woke up super early like 5am and cried, was very loud. Airplanes heard very early and very late.
Rooms look lovely and well decorated, but cant cover up the age of the apartments and lace lack of sound proof windows, walls.
If you wnat to rest and relax, I would not recommend to come here.
It was also a huge hassle to receive the remainder 1 night refund for the 2md night that we didn't stay.... took about 2 weeks.

We had a lovely stay at Tessa's a few weeks ago! My partner was on crutches at the time, and the lovely lady on reception swapped us to a room downstairs (without us even asking!) which was so kind. She looked after us the whole time and made sure we had a great stay - she was fantastic! The location is close to the airport, but it did not bother us light sleepers, so wouldn't say it's an issue at all. There is a lovely magnesium pool and the beach is just across the bike path. We would highly recommend the breakfast box, and the pizza was also delicious. All in all a wonderful stay, and we will be back!

Great location but other than that, I didnt like the experience. Not sure how the overall reviews are high, may be it was just our room. The bathrooms had mould on the grout. the air conditioner has never been cleaned, it made a noise so had to turn it off. The blinds do nothing to block out any light. The room we got wasn't worth the price, for a $50 different we should have stay at the casino.

Loved this place, but unfortunately, the walls are very thin and we had guests next door to our room that were drunk and very noisy from about 10pm to 2am, and then they were up again for some noisy love making at daybreak. Let's just say it felt like we were in the room with them. We did have to laugh, but for the last night of holiday, some more sleep would have been great.

Positives: Excellent parking. Free use of bikes. Food nearby. Comfy bed. Close to the airport.
