The staff members are incredibly friendly. They adapted so well to our booking problems and was so kind. HIGHLY recommened booking here because of how friendly and hardworking they were

Great looking country pub, right in the heart of Moruya! The rooms are well priced, but unfortunately my room absolutely stank of stale cigarettes! It was so strong we had to keep the window open and after 2 nights all my clothes and suitcase also smelt of stale cigarettes! ? Hopefully not all rooms are like this and we were just unlucky? On the upside... the bathroom had great water pressure and plenty of hot water for the shower!

The main bar is full of heritage images, with interesting facts about Moruya and the beer garden courtyard is pretty good for and afternoon beer! There's also decent parking available at the rear of the pub.

For visitors staying overnight... that's at least 7 cafes within a few minutes walk! But only 1 actually open Sunday mornings! ?

Swans Takeaway is next door and does a great hamburger. And if you're in Moruya on a Saturday, you must check our the fun markets on the riverback!

What a delightful stopover. An absolutely unique experience. Our beautifully fitted out suite, remeniscient of the seventies, had Him and Hers bathrooms !!!!! All the mod cons. Beautifully neat, clean and comfortable. This is a must do on a coastal road trip.

The room they given us has a dozen of bull flies in it. The room was very smelly and decided to move to another room. The next room was so dusty and the bed was itchy a lot of hair, maybe not clean properly or didn't change the bedsheets.

The staff were helpful and welcoming. The Beer garden was lovely lovely plants and cheerful atmosphere. Room was comfortable. The owners were very hospitable.

Convenient location, the room had not been cleaned though so that was disappointing. Funky style, would be good if it was clean and there was some money thrown at the plumbing...

We were very disappointed with our stay. The hotel needs a serious facelift, the gaudy decor looked like something from at least 40 years ago. The staff seemed miserable, almost as miserable as the poor Cockatiel in the cage in the car park. About the only positive thing we could say was that the sheets and towels were clean. Breakfast was almost a waste of time. We waited in the dining room but no-one was around. I even went out to the car park as I saw a lady who obviously worked there but she was no help. Eventually someone did turn up about 20 minutes after the time breakfast was scheduled to start. The coffee was nice. People were sat around smoking at the bottom of the back stairs so we had to run the gauntlet to exit that way. If there are bookings free at other hotels in the area, stay there even if it costs you more.

I had the cheapest room with own ensuite and the rooms are not small. They're double similar priced rooms in Goulburn.
The staff are incredibly friendly and the "feel", the atmosphere of this hotel is beyond incredible. All furniture and fittings are from eras gone by yet all in immaculate condition. So clean and comfortable.
I stayed here for a work trip but I'll be back with my partner for a weekend getaway soon.
