Excellent food, food sizes were very good, satay scallops brilliant along with the satay chicken, pad Thai and Pad See Ew. Service was excellent as well. Highly recommended

How lucky am I to have such a wonderful restaurant at Tuross Head. The food is exceptional - always so fresh and delicious and the menu keeps the favourites but always adds new treats.

Bee and her staff are always welcoming and efficient. And, the atmosphere - well where else could you get such a wonderful view - almost hanging over the river.

Bee, love the new wine stand and the constant updates you do.

We enjoyed our night at The Pickled Octopus once again. The food was amazing as always and you couldn’t ask for a better atmosphere. What an incredible place to sit down with good friends and have a great meal. The staff were fantastic, always ready to help. Nothing is too much trouble and they’re so friendly and welcoming. We have dined at The Pickled Octopus many times and will continue to make it our go to place for a wonderful dining experience. Thank you again for a great night out.

We had no idea what to expect when searching for a lunch spot in the area… but we found this gem! We booked outside in the alfresco dining - and had a table right on the water. We predominately shared a number of entrees (calamari, prawn/pork rolls, dim sims) - but the standouts were the caramel chilli pork belly and the house specialty oysters. Delicious. The service, food, and view were fantastic. Can’t wait to come back!

Lovely spot and attentive staff. Sadly the dishes we had were very mediocre. The deep fried snapper was very dry and we couldn't taste the octopus as it was overpowered by the tamarind and chilly sauce. The calamari was tender and tasty but 5 piece with a little salad for $20 was a bit steep. Happy to have tried the food.

The views are wonderful and the sunset was quite beautiful. We watched people fish on the dock and ate fresh seafood. The food was fresh but wasn't as great as expected. The dessert was lovely and the service was quite good too. The Octopus salad was a bit bland and the laksa was nice but a bit on the creamier side. It gets quite busy so make sure you book a table.

Upon arrival we were greeted with a friendly smile
We had a 1pm lunch sitting.

Service was at a steady pace not rushed at all.

Cocktails & beers were great.

Starters & dipping sauce were exceptional.

Mains absolutely to die for.
