Arrived in town during peak period and everywhere was booked for dinner. Had always wanted to visit in previous years, and I'm glad we did. The food was good, and the staff were very friendly. Wife and kids were happy, so job done.

Meal was great. Service however was terrible. After dinner we asked for a coffee at the bar. The gentleman said he was too busy in a very rude way. My partner was very upset. We saw the table next to us had coffee. So we asked a lady at the counter and got told the machine was broken. We left our drinks we had just bought and left. Very disappointed how we got treated two seperate staff members. Clearly one of them was lying to us. Slim chance we will be returning and won’t be recommending.

This is a review for the restaurant. The food was excellent. It was good value for money, the ingredients were fresh and the meals were made very well. I would recommend this restaurant as somewhere that you can easily drop in and have a positive experience - it's not fancy but it's pleasant, well managed and comfortable.

Turned up without a booking and we were rejected. Went downstairs and called for a booking and was accepted. Ridiculous! Asked what the curry special was, response was beef. Food turned up cold. X4 meals and starter. Food all over floor. Disappointing all round. Staff unhelpful.

We arrived for a 7pm Saturday night dinner, Ordering and serving is self service, Ordered for the kids x2 nuggets and chips that clearly came frozen from the supermarket. We ordered 2 barramundi fish that sadly came in a watery sauce without any flavour, roasted veggies were okay. Disappointing for a seaside restaurant.

We enjoyed a meal in the bar and grill. Was quiet in the afternoon so was nice to have the place to yourself. Food was quick and pretty nice. Not expensive. Pub style food

Needed a last minute room. Rowie (staff member) reached out and accommodated us. The hotel room is behind the beer garden it is clean and quiet enough as the kitchen (8:20) beer garden (9) closes. $150 per night all year round. Parking at the back of the hotel has cctv.
You can see the lake from the windows of the units even though we were in unit 4 at the back it was beautiful scenery.
Food was nice. Staff tried hard in the busy season. Overall a good experience. As a tourist I appreciate that the local community are welcoming but noticeably overwhelmed in busy periods. I look forward to returning in the quiet season.

Gravy tastes like the filling of a party pie. If you told me the pork ribs were from a dominoes pizza I’d believe you. Don’t bother.
