Majorly disappointed. This used to be my favourite cafe in Forster, but after changing hands, has just gone down hill.

The menu has a bad selection of food. Not many basic options.

The staff were badly trained. They were lovely people but clearly have not had proper training to work in hospitality.

The food was expensive and underwhelming. It took a while to come out and we had to ask the staff to check on it.

I will not be returning, which is a shame because the cafe is in a beautiful spot.

I hope the owner makes some changes, as I have noticed a lot of google reviews are saying similar things to me.

Service is good but...
Second time trying this place and got Mooshie beef patty
First time was dry fish and chips
I know it’s a one stop convenient shop but please improve for the future. Hope you take the critic positively

Food was unfortunately a letdown. Chickpea beetroot salad was overly sweet without beetroot ? sweet relish sweet balsamic cooked capsicum again is sweet. All good of you enjoy sweet food but need some sharpness perhaps radish ect as was fairly soggy.
Fritters were good but did lack some seasoning.i omitted the bacon though...
Look service was friendly and it was ok but I would not rush back unfortunately.

Ordered 1 coffee and 2 milk shakes. The service was friendly and polite. There were plenty of people there, especially locals, at sunrise. Was a great place to sit and watch the sunrise and watch the day start.

The cafe is located in a great spot w a netted swimming spot right in front of the cafe. There is plenty of free parking in an open car park. There is a fantastic playground for all ages at the opposite end of the car park and a toilet block behind the cafe. I'm not sure if they have showers. I would definitely go back.

Very very slow service, which would be ok if they were up front about it. When ordering a take away coffee, despite it not looking overly busy they should at least say ‘just letting you know it’s a 20+ minute wait’

If had of been told this would have continued my walk and grabbed a coffee elsewhere along the way. 22 minutes total I waited. While waiting another customer went to the counter complaining it was now past 40 minutes since they ordered a bacon and egg roll.

Rating 2 stars instead of 1 because they did at least apologise for the wait as I collected my coffee, but yeah won’t be returning.

My partner and I ordered lunch which cost 69$ , when our coffees came out I asked the wait staff for some sugar with the coffee, the waitstaff “ Scarlett” then came back to the table and “ threw” one sugar packet at me. There was a lady standing nearby that saw this happen and said the same wait person slammed her carrot cake on the table at her . I made a complaint to the manager who said to me “ what do you want me to do about it” we won’t be returning .
