I only had one night here but highly recommended. The location is perfect, my room is well appointed and a special mention to the lady on reception. Thanks for your help.

Nice place, but weird it has a kitchenette, but no microwave or toaster yet has plates and cutlery.
Has a minibar, but the fridge is turned off.
Huge bathroom.
My TV kept losing reception. Fixed twice but still didn't work, right in the middle of the olympics.
Curtsey bus from local club will collect you right outside of you call.
Cafe and restaurant right around the corner.

We only spent one night here and wished we stayed longer! Our room faced the sea and it was great to sit on the balcony and watch the waves and the beach. We had a suite deluxe with king bed - a large room with air conditioning but surprisingly little space for storage of clothes. There was little shelf space in the bathroom either. Otherwise the room was superb. The mini bar prices were the most reasonable we have come across so far in Australia.

Unfortunately we won't be staying at the dorsal boutique again...this is our second time staying at this hotel but it will be the last. The views are absolutely stunning and the staff were kind & helpful. But that's about all that was good. We stayed at the 'oceanic apartment', myself & partner with two young kids. For the price you pay, it is so not worth it! The apartment was not clean with heaps of sand and dust in corners and under the couch. The ceiling fans had so much dust on them that we didn't dare turn it on. Nail clippings in the bedroom bedside table drawer!! The apartment was outdated and furniture super old. The hot water system was super small so showers lasted 2 minutes before hot water ran out!!! The kitchen lacked basic amenities like a chopping board and tea towel. The windows were so dirty and mouldy that you couldn't even enjoy the stunning view properly. There was no mattress protector on one of the beds. And the beds were not comfortable as you could feel the springs when you lied down. The toilet didn't flush properly. So many things wrong with this place that I could keep writing...leaving this review so people are aware of the poor quality of the apartment provided...it is not worth your money!!

View pretty good. Service good re check in check out however wasn't expecting to have cleaning mid stay. Bed was two singles pushed together, not ideal. Small room with no microwave or toaster. I understand its s hotel but something would have been helpful. If you have a big car, you will never get out of the carpark.

We stopped over at Forster for one night on our way home to Sydney from Coffs but on entering the room immediately wished we were staying longer. The room was spacious and had a balcony with (albeit only) partial ocean views (which was fully disclosed on the booking website) but what impressive views they still were. It was lovely sitting on the balcony having a morning coffee whilst watching the surf and being treated to (many) whales frolicking in front of us. The location is absolutely superb - right on the Foster main beach front and only a few minutes walk to the town centre. The staff were lovely- it makes such a difference when everyone you encounter says hello. Customer service 101 but still stands out when you receive this welcome.

Very disappointed with this so called boutique Motel. We entered our room only to be hit with a strong smell as if the room was shut In the heat with wet carpet for a couple of days. The lady at the desk was very apologetic and promptly gave us another room. We entered this room only to find a dead cockroach in the cutlery draw that had been dead for a while as the fluids from it had stained the plastic. Something brown and sticky was on the floor in front of the dirty fridge that was obvious to us but apparently not to the cleaners. The ironing board is a joke, there are bigger ones in the toy shops for the kids. Tiny shower in a large bathroom with absolutely no where to place your toiletries. This place is way over priced and we will never be back. Stay away from this place if you want a good stay in Forster.
