Just visiting from Sydney and had a 60min deep tissue session with Rachel. It was an amazing experience and she was able to find my sore areas without having to point them all out to her. She was amazing and can't praise her enough. Will be coming back and recommending to others

My partner & I arrived from Sydney this afternoon, we had booked a massage earlier in the week. We have a massage every year at Thai Lotus Massage & Day Spa at Tuncurry when we are on holidays & it is always amazing. I had a combination of Thai & Swedish massage. Unfortunately, my massage was the worst I have ever had. The lady that massaged me had short dyed orange/reddish hair. Her technique felt very lazy and I didn’t even think she knew what she was doing. What she called a massage was just rubbing up & down my body, pressing down with the back of her arm & elbow. Her hands were very weak & I thought I was being massaged by a 5 year old. 20 minutes in to the massage, I actually said to her "Do you know what you are doing. I don't want to be massaged like that, you are patting me like a dog. I want you to use your fingers & release my knots". The lady massaging my partner was translating to her. I actually, nearly got up & walked out. I wish I did because it was a waste on our time & money. Before I left, I explained to the lady that massaged my partner how bad that was. The lady replied, next time. We both stopped her & said " there will be no next time, we will not be back". Very, very disappointed.

Unfortunately my massage was not good. The lady that massaged me seemed completely distracted and the technique felt lazy and I didn’t think she knew at all what she was doing. I asked for a firm massage 1.5hrs. Not only did the massage last for less than the allocated time but most of the time it felt like a relaxation massage and a bad one at that. Disappointing experience and there was no follow up as to how I found the massage. The lady was friendly and perhaps the other masseuses are better but avoid the lady with short orange/red hair.

I was a little apprehensive when I saw that my masseuse was the lady with the short, red-dyed hair mentioned in Jodie Hughes's review, but was happy with the strength of the massage I was given. I did visit at midday, so it's possible that the masseuse was tired during Jodie's visit which was possibly in the evening. Alternatively Jodie could be 100% rock-hard, chiselled muscle while I'm a skinny nerd boy.

Im from Newcastle and here for one week In Forster. I had the best deep tissue remedial massage today with Ning. I've been getting Thai massages for 20 years.
Ning is AMAZING. Highly skilled massager I was pleasantly surprised as the 90 mins I paid for went above and beyond my expectations. Much love Ning from Christina.
