Small, cosy, clean, cheap and cheerful room for the money which was not a kings ransom at $150 or thereabouts.

Staff were super helpful and provided a kettle, cups, milk, sugar for me so when I woke up after the show I don't have to leave the room to wake up and also offered the usual things you would expect such as an ironing board if you're travelling for business. Just ask the staff,

Tacos and beer downstairs and handily located to all the best parts of Sydney, so what's not to love? Recommend booking parking at time of reservation. Vending machine available for midnight munchies.

Excellent budget hotel, rooms are quite small but for a bed to sleep in while travelling and exploring this hotel has everything you need. Very comfortable bed and excellent bathroom amenities. We encountered a little bit of noise from neighbouring rooms but nothing extreme. In hotel bar and eatery featured amazing tacos and drinks. Super friendly service and very smooth process. Location is incredible, a short walk from both Redfern and central station and close to many food and drink venues. Would absolutely stay again.

Great location and friendly, helpful staff. Room was very small, floor was dirty and there was hairs in the shower. The rooms are quite noisy as well.
That been said, its value for what it is.

Our experience at this hotel was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, we found a cockroach and a spider in the room, which was quite unsettling. The room was advertised as soundproofed, but we could hear constant rumbling from the nearby train, making it difficult to rest. Additionally, there was no daily room cleaning service provided throughout our stay, which further diminished the comfort of the experience.

I would not recommend this hotel unless these issues are addressed.

Knew the room was going to be tiny and the facilities limited, but for the price the noise was inexcusable. We could hear EVERYTHING going on in every room around us, above and beside us, as well as the hallway. Couldn't get any sleep. Wish we'd paid extra to stay somewhere with actual walls.

(Service was great though, and the parking situation was also surprisingly good)

My daughter booked this hotel cause it is near the chinatown area and this hotel got a two bedroom detached house with a full kitchen, dining and family room.

The place is clean and well maintained, we even got an outdoor seating area.

The down side is they don’t clean the rooms daily and the noise of the train is rather annoying, our place not insulated well. Note: this hotel situated just beside a busy train station.

Hotel lobby is bright and there is a taco restaurant inside. You must try it.

Great food, friendly staff, rooms are small, but adequate for sleeping in. But it is the loud noises with very little sleep - internal showers, people going to their toilets or walking and talking in their rooms. Never- ending trains passing to Redfern station. The lift was dodgy, my bathroom had a blocked drain smell and my toilet kept on flushing until I fiddled with the flusher. I won't be back.

I honestly cannot believe we live in a time where $200pn for a 3-star hotel in Sydney is considered "budget"!!

The location is amazing, which was about the only good thing. The room was very small, had a damp smell, and could have been cleaner. Only two, old plastic cups were provided, and our window blind was broken and had to be rolled up and down manually.

I understood upon booking that it was near a train station, but I did not realise it backed up onto it... Thankfully the trains do not run 24/7, but be aware if you are going to bed early. Although we could not hear the trains at night, you could hear everything else. Every door being opened and closed (no soft close doors), every shower, conversation in the hallways, elevator, and door dings. Noise cancellation materials were obviously not in the renovation budget.

It is a good (nowhere near "cheap") stay if you are not planning on spending any time in the room, and only in Sydney to explore. But keep in mind, it is essentially a hostel with private bathrooms.

Also, triple check your room before you leave. I left an item in the room and was told that they "don't organise postage from the hotel", and was expected to collect the item after I had already returned home, which is 3+ hours away.
