Hmmmm OK it is far superior now compared to when I sat through thousands of school performances and award ceremonies. They now have retractable tiered seating, that can apparently be rolled back to open up the open flooring below for other styles of events that require an open flat area (eg a seated catered meal etc).

The seats are padded and comfortable...................however the seats are not super stable. And if you have customers sitting in your row that move their legs, tap or move about, that movement travels through the adjoining seats and creates a slight movement.

So unfortunately I suffer from motion sickness...................and yeah, yeah I know 1st world problems, but the effect on me personally, was that it caused me to feel nauseous, and I had to take a travacalm motion sickness tablet to counter the effects.

Although stable, the aisleway walkways that accessed the tiered seating had noticeable creaks and was slightly disconcerting.

The stage looks a lot more professional and appropriate for live performances, which is a nice change from the days that my children (now adults) performed/appeared there as primary school aged students.

The foyer and bar area just after the box office is severely underwhelming. While there were a few high glassed top tables with bar chairs, the majority of the space was filled with cheap adhesive laminate topped tables that were very very budget and ordinary. It wasn't very appealing or welcoming.

Overall it's a great improvement on what it was in the past. But personally, and mainly due to the issue of the seating movement and unappealing foyer/bar area, I personally wouldn't attend another performance there.

My preference will always be The Q (this building is referred to as The B) QCC's adjacent "built for purpose" Performing Arts Centre, which is far superior to the The B, and has permanent seats that don't experience the movement and issues that occur in The B.

Our recent event. Everything was very well managed by the staff. Only sound was not perfect, very low and artist was struggling bit. Punjabi performance always need loud beat. Rest was perfect

I attended this venue for a concert by the Australian Wind Symphony. My experience over all wasn't bad. But there were a few things that let the venue down, which subsequently affected the quality of the concert.
- There were no face masks at front desk in case someone had forgotten/lost their own.
- There were no bins to dispose garbage and food before enetering
- The lighting was left up too high on the audiance which made the concert feel more like a rehersal
- A door was left open to the car park when the concert began, which a performer had to close
- There was no obvious indication it was time to take our seats which meant people were still trickling in as the concert was about to begin.
- While the band was spread out due to Covid, the audience was given seats with no gaps between people, having to literally rub shoulders in a time when social distancing of 1.5m has been a normal for years. After intermission the audience dispersed out into the many unused seats, so it was clear to me that the audience was not comfertable with the original seating arrangements.
- Signage to the proper entrance was also lacking.

Good hall. Will be better after the planned renovations. QPRC are really whipping Queanbeyan into shape! So many good developments now, and this hall will be One of them.
We held a conference here. QPRC catered the tables, chair's, projector + screen, and appropriate access for delegates.
