Amazing food, exuberant & energetic staff, crafting delicious dishes. 8 or 9 tables. Decorated with kabuki theatre prints and other Japanese artefacts, it looks like a lunch place, but offers dinner in a bright colourful space. They were playing a smooth boss and a soundtrack. An absolute delight. I heard two ladies paying their bill saying they’d be back tomorrow. Me too.

The sushi here is exceptional - we liked it so much that we ordered it again the next day. Sushi is very fresh with generous portions of fish. The quality and variety are unmatched (probably because the fish markets are just down the road). My new favourite nigiri platter in Sydney!

We went last night for valentines and they were very busy. Wait for food for a bit long but they were very gracious and apologetic about it. They maintained the quality of food during this rush and I really enjoyed the freshness and portion size of their food. Chirashi bowl, salmon nigiri, spicy tuna handroll and toro nigiri was delightful. We shall return soon to try the other dons as they looked really good too (katsudon and tempura don).

Needed some lunch and came across this little gem not far from the Pyrmont Bridge on Pyrmont Street.

I ordered both the Takoyaki (deep fried octopus balls) and the Tiger Roll (deep-fried chicken, cucumber, topped with cheese mayo, spicy mayo, and mustard mayo).

Both were served quickly and beautifully presented. Not only were they visually impressive they also tasted magnificent!

Decor in the restaurant was quite impressive and good selection of fresh seafood on show for potential sashimi.

Highly recommended, thank you!

Food was very yummy. Seafood and sashimi are all highly recommended. Pork Gyoza also very yummy. Service also good. Waiting time a bit long. A bit hot inside as the airconditioning was not on.
