We’ve heard this place before and I happened to meet their founder Jade a while ago, so we decided to give it a go.
Overall, their food is okay. First of all, it’s a bit pricey for the portions. $46 for an entree and nothing is really special. Considering the location, probably rent is expensive so reflecting on the price, which is fair enough. Braised pork is average, taste is simply savoury, no sweetness. Th pork belly they chose has skirt on, hence the lean meat can be a bit tough. Prawns ? are difficult to comment as it didn’t taste like fresh prawns. It seemed like frozen prawns for me, I could be wrong, but it did have a freezer smell inside. Beef noodles were good! We spent around $160 on the dishes.
Environment is good, nice relaxing music, candles on each table. Staff are very attentive and friendly.

BRILLIANT. This is the only place I want to eat top notch Asian cuisine ! I’ve been visiting the B.E.D for years and my recent visit didn’t disappoint. The Taiwanese food is fresh and flavoursome. Muriel and her team are welcoming, friendly and efficient - they always guide and know what works well together. So many choices, but my go to favourites are the sweet and sour chicken, beef eye fillet, prawns in bloody plum sauce, soft shell crab- all delicious. Just try it out, sure you won’t be disappointed 🙂

I had my mums 60th surprise birthday dinner at Blue Eye Dragon. Muriel and Ken were amazing to work with in planing the dinner. They were very accommodating and I seriously appreciate it. The food was delicious! So vibrant in taste and the serving size is quite generous for the money you pay. I had 40 guests so we got the 10 course set menu at $68 per person. Everyone enjoyed the food and they started to get full after the 5/6 entrees. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy, and intimate. They're perfect for dates or for groups. The restaurant also serves as an art gallery. They display beautiful artwork on the walls. I had such a lovely experience that I am adding this restaurant to my regular venues for dinner near the star ?

At first I was a bit disappointed because the room was a bit dark and the menu didn't have a picture so it was hard for me to imagine what the food will look like.
We decided to go with some safe option and we got mind-blowing ?
Totally recommend dumplings, we ordered pork mince with chives. The skin was thin but it wasn't easy to tear when you use chopsticks to pick it up. The sauce was made by the restaurant and the balance was perfect.
The dumplings are available to take away in frozen conditions and they would show you how to cook as well.
Their prawn was good and nothing I can say bad about it. But I recommend the prawn with plum sauce. It's sweet, sour and a bit of savoury. The balance was perfect. If you don't like the sour of plum, I would say you should gove it a try because the sour level was so light, so delicate ?
My next favourite was their herbal chicken soup. The soup was not bitter, the chicken was bitter but it's not bitter like medicine.
Their staffs were friendly and helpful.
I totally would visit this place again in the future.

Another brilliant meal courtesy of Muriel and her attentive team at the Dragon. The usual soft shell crab, chicken bites and jades bloody prawns are undeniably the best in town. I've taken Asian clients here before and they rave about the quality and flavour of every dish. And it doesn't break the bank, even with the Star across the road! Highly recommend.

Delicious and perfect food. In house made dumplings are plump, fresh and so tasty and some of the best I've had. Don't forget to ask for the home made chilli. Service is polite and professional in a clean and comfy space. A weekly go to for our office. I can highly recommend.
