In a great location not far from central station and close to broadway mall. Check in is online, so you don’t have to talk to anyone upon arrival which was a bonus.
I stayed in a private room with my partner , when we arrived the room was nice and clean, modern and cozy.
But the whole three nights we were there we didn’t have anyone come and service the room. We ran out of towels and our bin was full so we sent a message through the Goki app asking to make sure our room was serviced the next day and they replied saying it will be done, but it never did. There is only staff there during check out and check in times and we were out in the city during these times so we never got to see them.

The shower in the private bathroom is awful, very weak water pressure and the shower head had some calcium buildup making the water spray in all directions. The toilet also had a bad smell coming from the sewage. Everything else is okay with the room.

It got very noisey at night time, which is to be expected since there’s a bar under the hostel. But what also contributed to the noise levels was that a lot of people hanged out in the hallway at night time and stayed out there until late. Which was super annoying. If your a light sleeper I don’t suggest getting a room here

Been here for over a month now and all I can say is the staff is AMAZING. Super professional, polite and understanding. If you need anything they will go over and beyond to help you. 10 out of 10 will recommend. They clean every day - and understand the frustrations travelers have and will accommodate you. Most of the rooms are 4 beds with an en-suite. Make sure you do close the bathroom doors before going to sleep as the bar below does have a smell affect with the bathroom pipes upstairs. Also, if you hate loud places this most likely isn’t the place for you as there is a pub downstairs that on event nights it gets pretty loud. Keep in mind this might be once or twice a week.

Willem Olding

This is less of a hostel and more a vending machine for beds. I didn't speak to a staff member the whole time and everything is done through an app which is a little weird.

This is ok if everything goes to plan. It sucks when things go wrong. There wasn't a bed made up for me when I arrived so I had to locate clean sheets and make it up myself.

It is also above a pub and if you aren't partying on a Friday or Saturday night it is window-rattlingly loud in the dorms.

Location and price are great though.

From the beginning you go there and there is no reception. There is no comun places. No rooftop. No lockers. Private bathroom good, clean, but not even one facility, 8 people bathroom with their things on the floor. Hot water didn’t work one entire day. They told me that happens some times but they usually fix it fast. that didn’t happen with me. I went to sleep after long shift work with out take a shower and when I woke up at 9 to go to another job still wasn’t working.

Very comfy bed/mattress. Very clean and well managed. I saw past reviews of this hostel saying how the rooms are not cleaned everyday. But I think it's all changed here. Cuz they clean literally everyday. I stayed here for 7 days at a 4 bedroom (bathroom inside the room) and they cleaned my room everyday including the bathroom floor. So clean. It was wonderful~! People working at this hostel are very kind people who are always eager to help you on anything; I mean they really go through a lot sometimes to just give you a help. I was actually impressed and amazed by it ! Awesome ! I will definitely visit this place again. They have a laundry and dryer machine on the roof top and such a great view from the roof top~!! They also have a big kitchen and you can cook your meal by yourself everyday. They already have all the kitchen tools (frying pans / gas burner etc..) You can use them all free any time you want.

Black mold in the entire bathroom ceiling, told the staff to clean it on the first day but they simply just ignored me. Asked them continuously the whole week but nothing happened. The manager entered our room many times unannounced without knocking, no respect for privacy. One time she wanted to use our bathroom. Can’t recommend this place, and the other reviews describe other reasons such as loud music, empty rooftop etc. which also is true.

Easy check in (electronic), has nice small dorm rooms for 4 with aircon and a good bathroom. The kitchen is small. It is located on top pf a bar so it can be loud, but closing the windows does the trick

Cleanliness is alright. One of the common showers does not work really well. The rooftop is a major plus here as well as the TV and lounge areas. The fact that each bed has a socket, a USB charger, and an individual lamp is well thought out! Also the trunks under the beds, great idea! Beds are simple, mattress not super comfortable, sheets and blankets are clean.
