Very Pleasant stay, nice cafe in Front and perfect located to Explore the city. Can be a bit noisy At night, because Rooms are Not isolated well. Cleaniness after the Daily cleaning can be improved and Rooms are rather small but i guess for the price it was still pretty good value

I had to be at St Vincent's Hospital early in the morning. I live in rural NSW so I had to find overnight accommodation in order to be there at 7am. I found No9 to be a fantastic place to stay. The bed was the most comfortable that I have ever slept in at any hotel. Very close to shops, restaurants and services. There is a Harris Farm outlet right across the road where you can buy fresh fruit and plenty of other things to eat. The overall setting of the area is very pleasant and there was very little traffic noise. The room I had was on the small side and the only thing I could pick is the carpet are a bit dated in my opinion, but it was fine as a place to stay for a night. The cost for the room was very reasonable considering the locality of No9. I would happily stay here again - in fact, I will probably need to return to the hospital in a few months, so I will be 99% booking a room here again.

No 9 Springfield is a great boutique hotel with some of the friendliest staff I've encountered in Australia or internationally - they're really warm and helpful. The rooms are compact, but clean and with modern decor - so they're really comfortable when I've been on work trips. The location is also great, so I'd stay here during future recreational trips to Sydney too. For the price point, I don't think you can go wrong!

The staff are friendly and location is very convenient near the train station. The room was alright but bathroom very small. The sealant in the bathroom was mostly missing including under the shower door which meant the bathroom flooded. The floors are also very creaky and a lot of noise comes from the room above. Overall I could not recommend.

Will never stay here again, nor recommend it to anyone! The room itself was fine (incredible claustrophobic but fine), but the biggest disappointment was the service and staff. Upon our stay there was a fire on the street directly outside our room, our room and the entire bottom floor of the hotel filled with smoke. We ran out of our room and phoned the hotel manager who was not equipped to handle such an emergency. We were left with no guidance or information on what to do... this lack of care and service continued throughout the rest of our stay. Our room was full of smoke and stank, it was so unbearable that my husband and I could not stay in there and were forced to leave at 5.30am to find breakfast. When we returned we requested to be moved to a clean room. The staff advised us the hotel was fully booked and they could not do anything. I still have had ZERO communication from anyone at the hotel regarding our stay despite attempts on reaching out to them. Incredibly disappointed in the service.

Good location but our room was very disappointing. The bathroom was tiny, the shower was terrible and we overlooked some sort of tiny back alley... and could see straight into the bedroom window opposite. The bed was lovely and comfortable, however the noises coming from the alley woke us up very early.||Eugene on reception is very friendly and helpful.

I recently had to cancel my reservation due to unforeseen circumstances beyond my control, specifically a ban imposed by local authorities preventing me from traveling to Sydney. I reached out to the hotel and Booking.com to explain my situation and request a refund. Booking.com was willing to issue a refund, but the hotel management refused to accommodate my request, despite the circumstances.

While I understand that non-refundable policies are in place, the lack of flexibility in this situation was disappointing. I expected more understanding and customer service from the hotel.

I hope this feedback encourages the hotel to consider more empathetic approaches to exceptional situations in the future.

The location is very good, and the staff is friendly, but the room I had is really meant for one person. Issues like a loose sink faucet, lack of a proper wardrobe, and no storage space in the bathroom are really inadequate and need improvement. If you are on the fourth floor, you have to go up a very narrow staircase with your luggage. Additionally, the carpet was wet due to a leak through the outside wall.
