Older park close to town. Sites are basic with a mixture of surfaces. We booked a site with no tree and were put under a large gum. They happily moved us. Amenities need a little TLC but work fine. Pool was great to cool off in. Camp kitchen is well equipped. No pets, so don't know if it is pet friendly

An older park in a great location at the end of Peel street. A short walk to town and major shopping centres. The park has first class camp kitchens, the sites are showing their age but we see efforts are underway to renovate some of the grass sites. The amenities are clean and spacious and looked to have been renovated in the past few years. A good place to stay while in Tamworth.

We live in Kootingal 25 km from the caravan park. We stay at the caravan park sometimes for convenience. If you’re travelling through Tamworth it’s the perfect place to stay , close to town very clean and tidy. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

Got into town and thought we would splurge a bit on accommodation and I'll tell ya what the river villa cabin we chose did not disappoint. Absolutely fantastic and worth every cent, it has everything you need including washer/dryer. We will definitely be back to this park, well done guys!!

Big 4 caravan sites are usually better than the rest. This park has some excellent features and some less than ideal features. The camp kitchen and lounge area with gas fire is really good and would be perfect for groups. The caravan sites however are not level and could do with being re developed. The Amenities blocks are old and so cramped doors must open outwards. But showers were clean hot and in good condition. Excellent location. Overall a bit of redevelopment would be a good idea. Nevertheless I would stay again.

Great hospitality in a perfect quiet location. Sunset on the creek was outstanding but the 5 stars goes to the amenities. The bathrooms were clean and the shower pressure was great. The mess hall with the fireplace and massive tv to watch the footy topped it off. Only complaint was the team playing. Thanks Lisa for having us.

The only thing we didn't like was that there is no boom gates to make it a little more secure. A great place for a sunset picture and close to town.
We will definitely stop again on our next trip.

We were towed in due to car troubles and had to stay longer than planned. Caretakers were wonderful and supportive. Service from staff was always great and the pool was nice. On the third night we moved to an ensuite which was much nicer than where our powered site was.

Facilities were quite outdated (except for camp kitchen, they were great) caravanpark wasn't very secure as their were no coded boom gates so it felt a little unsafe especially with our two little ones. Other visitors were not sticking to 10k speed limit and there were the same cars constantly in and out of the park which was a little weird/annoying to us. I guess having a coded boom gate would probably alleviate the amount of traffic in and out and the speed from other visitors
