Quick pick for a dinner option and the simplistic menu and atmosphere did not disappoint. The Belly pork Bao and the Bali Nasi were lovely. We were able to sit and watch the chef prepare our meals which was done expertly and very efficiently. The spice enhancement to the dishes were obvious and made the taste of the dishes uniquely delicious.

I seem to always come here alone, which is fine because they have bar seating making eating alone less awkward.

Usually grab the laksa but last night got the dosa and was super happy with it as they had a vegan option (am dairy free). Also grabbed the tofu fries which were crunchy.

Where I sat I got to see all the amazing food being prepped and ready to be taken out so I’m keen to come back and try all the other dishes on offer! Always have a delicious meal here.

We had visited 8Things in Katoomba a few times, and when we discovered they offered private dining and a food truck for events, we knew right away they had to be part of our special day. We booked 8Things for a private dinner the night before our wedding, their food truck for the wedding day itself, and breakfast the morning after. From start to finish, they exceeded every expectation!

Chef Misha and Ana went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary requirements, ensuring everything was Halal, which we greatly appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Our family and friends couldn’t stop raving about each meal, and it added such a wonderful touch to our wedding experience.

Thanks to 8Things, our wedding celebrations were made even more memorable. We couldn’t be more grateful for their care in every bite. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a unique and mouth watering dining experience for their event!

Phenomenal food, pleasant staff and pretty chill out atmosphere with great music. For me, it's a must visit if you're around.
I had Singapore laksa with added chicken and the portion was pretty big, but i had to finish it considering how good it was!
I will definitely come back if I have a chance!

We really liked the concept, the variety and the food. We had a late lunch after the blue mountains hike. Some the other places close between 3pm and 5/6pm.
Good fresh food (we had the burger and the laksa) and great cider and kambutcha.

8 Things Eatery is a great spot for a laid-back meal. The food is super tasty, and ordering is a breeze. They have a ton of gluten-free options, which is awesome, and the prices are really reasonable.

One of the best things about this place is that it’s BYO, so you can bring your own bottle of wine and just relax. If you’re looking for a chill spot with good food and good vibes, 8 Things Eatery is definitely worth checking out!
