This was the worst burger I have had in a long time. I paid 18$ for a horrible burger.
Nothing was good. The steak was horrible, even a maccas steak would have been better. The onions were raw, sauce was gross, and bread not good at all. Honestly go to Maccas it’s tastier.
I don’t understand the other reviews « good food »…
Another thing. We waited 30 minutes for the food.

The hotdog sandwiches are amazing. You get to build your own but the flavours really blend well together. Must try when in Hervey bay. The sweet potato chips are also crispy and not oily, perfectly seasoned. We also had mango smoothie and strawberry milkshake which are okay. Service is great although we did notice the tables were kinda sticky and menus were wet when we sat down.

We had a delicious lunch at The 50’s D iner, and decided to celebrate my birthday the next day with the Pancakes with Bacon and Maple Syrup for breakfast.
SIMPLY SCRUMPTIOUS is all I can say!! The waitress brought mine out with a sparkler on top of the dish and the staff were happy to sing happy birthday to me as well.
Talk about feeling special!! A meal I will remember for sure.
We loved the decor and the theme which made the whole experience very enjoyable.

Absolutely amazing food and atmosphere. The bacon and egg roll was to die for. This place is always full so get in early they do breakfast and lunch. Just across the road from the beach street parking and wheelchair accessible. Great value for money. Well done Kelly

Good food and decent prices. Interior was really neat. We did have to wait over half an hour after we ordered to get our food and had to ask 2 different staff for ketchup before they brought it over. Milkshakes were really good, would definitely recommend, my friend said it was probably one of the best milkshakes he has had in Australia since we have been here.

A visually pleasing atmopshere for people who are very nostalgic of, or just a fan of anything popular about the 1950s era. The staff are welcoming, helpful, and accommodating.

The food is based on very classical iconic American food. Generous in size portion, and the menu options are plentiful on two full pages, and a bunch of mains let you build-your-own - with lots of customisable food toppings. We liked that.

The value for money needs were met, and we both enjoyed it, we didn't leave hungry or disappointed.

Location wise it might be easily missed if you're new to the area and relying on Google maps to locate it. Look for the very iconic statue resting on the seat, with enough room aside him.. waiting for you to take a photo together.

Multi choice Trivia card game is available at each table so give it a try with friends whilst the food is cooking.

All I can say is WOW! From the perfect theme to the minor touches like trivia and facts on the table, this place is unreal. We went to the diner for breakfast and it did not disappoint. I got the maple bacon pancakes and my partner got the waffles. The serving sizes were huge and decently priced, I’d recommend only 1 waffle per person. Unfortunately I’m not local but when I return to Hervey Bay I’ll be sure to drop in again.
