Beautiful apartment in a beautiful part of the world only a minutes walk to the pub and cafes. Very comfortable bed and furniture. Highly recommended. Nice selection of herbal teas. Amazing calming water views and large spa!| To whisk away life’s stresses….. just what the doctor ordered!

We stayed in November. Location is great unfortunately the smell in our room was unbearable. There looks like there is some sort of water damaged to the bedroom we stayed in. The whole place stink like mould. They shouldn't be able to rent the place put like this. Disgusting.

We booked a 3 night package deal. We booked directly with their website. The communication was good. The place was clean, and the bed was really comfortable. It is spacious. Unit 3 overlooks the water. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped. There was a smart TV (a big one downstairs and a small one upstairs). Everything worked well. My only little gripe is the sofa is a little bit old and uncomfortable. We had a wonderful stay here.

Great stay at 5 Knots.

My wife and I recently had the opportunity to stay at a two bedroom apartment in Metung offered by 5 Knots, and while it showed signs of wear and tear, it still offered a pleasant and comfortable experience. The apartment features two generously sized bedrooms, providing ample space for a small group or family. The living room and common areas are spacious and well-lit, creating a welcoming atmosphere. While the furniture and fixtures may show signs of age, they are functional and provide a cozy setting for relaxation. A few updated touches could enhance the overall aesthetic appeal. Despite this, the beds were comfortable, and the overall cleanliness was very good. The apartment is equipped with the essentials for a self-accommodating stay, including a pretty complete kitchen, good range of cooking utensils, and 2 full bathrooms.

The apartment's location is convenient being walking distance from the center of Metung. Access to local restaurants and the waterfront around the lakes was very easy. Our time at the apartment was pleasant, and I appreciated the convenience and space it offered. It is a good choice for those looking to explore the area.

The apartment was spacious, the balconies had a lovely view of the lake. The appliances were all European and excellent to use. The spa bath was amazing, I felt thoroughly rested and refreshed. The beds were comfortable. Only negative was that the top balcony was out of use. I'd definitely stay at 5 Knots again.

My partner saw a special offer through Traveldream for a 3 night stay at 5 Knots. We decided to do this as I had recently recovered from a bout of illness including pneumonia.
We arrived at what was a below street level unit. We opened the door and we were hit by the smell of mildew.
The split system was running and as we were excited to be away, we hoped the heater would kill the smell of mildew.
We proceeded into the lounge area which looked onto a fence and a very dreary, grubby, outside area with table and chairs.
We were unable to warm the area with the heating provided.
The bedroom did not have a window or ventilation.
The next day I noticed my socks were wet and we discovered a large wet patch between the bedroom and bathroom. I contacted 5 Knots and the eventually sent a maintenance person. He arrived, partially dried out the area bit said it was an ongoing problem and would need further maintenance. The toilet also kept running water. After he left we noticed a strong chemical smell. We made a decision to vacate the unit and return home as I could not risk further problems with my lungs. I notified 5 Knots of our decision. They made no effort to relocate us and the complex was empty. How could they sell a subterranean room. What were they thinking. So very disappointing.
